Played a bit of Vermintide quick matches today to complete those daily challenges and I happened to get teamed with some geezer who knows the maps inside out.

We did 5 missions total and died twice (first was because some gimp went afk after about 2 minutes) but in all of them he knew where every tome and grimoire was.

Also, Ian. That halberd for your character really is the shit, I unlocked one and got to try it (I had to do 2 missions as the character you usually use) and it's lethal.

I've also managed to get an orange trinket which is grand as it obviously carries over on all characters.

You no doubt figured this out but sound-wise you want to be turning to work out where enemies are because in front of you and behind you can sound exactly the same.

Really like the addition of the training mode, like the look of the MK47, Tuk-Tuks are obviously beastly (3 person too so useful for most TTH jaunts) and a marker where you're looking is a plus.

Not allowing us to dual wield any gun is obviously a real shitter.

Was there anybody else / anybody else we can rope in? I gather we'd want to get ten ideally so we don't have to bother with randoms. And presumably try and organise a time rather than just hope a big group of us will be on at once.

Also as another quick admin question how do you join games? Can Steam and Game Pass people join the same rooms?

I assume it runs the same way - someone hosts and gives out a 6 letter code to join with, so that should allow cross-play.

I'd be up for a game if we can get a full group.
