Actually re: the Giggles complaint, what was the way you picked the list?
Shamelessly copied from the 18/19 thread. I'll chop it down.

Just cut whoever you can't be arsed with off when you do your list.
Or what Lewis said. An opportunity to share memories of fallen comrades perhaps.

Yeah I agree lads. If I was making a compulsory list maybe >50 posts in the last 12 months but picking and choosing is probably easier.

I think I've had a frustrated low-level "ffs, who IS that" thought every time I've seen Manc 's avatar. For a while I thought it was a shaved Ricky Wilson but looking now that's a shocking shout.

Im not in the list.
Best way to make a list is to go on community>members list at the top and then filter everyone who has over say 100 posts AND has posted in say the last 12 months.
You’ve basically ruined the thread from the start by providing such a DOGSHIT list.

Part One:
Baz ‒ I get Baz all the way to the moon and back. Really, really love him. I loathed him but respected him for the startup of new TTH, but my appreciation for him has grown and I guess my own personal growth is a marker for enjoying his content. Top marks.
Boydy ‒ Still a complete enigma. A contradiction. Comes across as a closet transexual who wants to have a sex change but because of his small town roots doesn't have the balls to...well does...but doesn't want them. I sense Boyd has a very small circle around him which he ventures out of very rarely. He's a t-shirt wearing paddler in the shallow end, which is a shame.
bruhnaldo ‒ Bruh is an annoying, loud version of Boyd. An insignifcance you can't even be bothered about, even when it's screaming in your face. His overt niceness you can't help but feel is a plea to like him rather than any genuine regard for your wellbeing. Happy to be proven wrong. Bruh has been more than supportive of me personally, perhaps this may go some way in explaining his social exclusion. Strangled by the web of niceguyism.
Dark Soldier ‒ Actually very, very happy to see DS having good times. I should have listened to him far more when I was younger. Wise as hell and he's got the marks to prove it.
Don ‒ Delighted with his return. One of my all-time favourites. Has a glowing disregard for society's wellbeing I can only dream of achieving. Please stay.
Foe ‒ Guilty pleasure. Harmless as a fly and probably a really easy bloke to get along with. Foe is a well made cup of tea. The missionary position. Top Gear re-runs on Dave. Entirely pleasant, but more of a fill the gaps type guy than someone that gets your g-spot tingling.
Giggles ‒ Giggles for me is the opposite of Baz. I related far more to him when I was a miserable, suicidle, stubborn, gaslit, manipulated waste of breath. Now I'm soaring like an eagle I pity him. The last real chance we have for change is age 45. Beyond that, any hopes of changing our ways drop dramatically. I pity Giggles rather than revelling in his misery ala Bam.
Igor - Love him to pieces. One of the best additions to the forum ever.
-james- ‒ I've never really got close to James, but I've always wanted to which is weird. He reminds me of Igor but less unhinged. A lost opportunity, perhaps.
Jimmy Floyd ‒ When Jimmy came out on here, it was one of the most moving things I've experienced online. Suddenly everything made sense, and I've really grown close to him as a result (he doesn't know that lol). Fabulous poster who I have oodles of time for.
John ‒ Now winding John up is off my to-do list, I don't really notice him anymore. He's definitely posting less which hasn't helped with the engagement, but if he did would I pay attention? Now we're all a bit older his way of being just comes across as unnecessary and irritating.
John Arne ‒ Incredibly weird with the death chart competition and underlines a serious tone of deviancy about the guy. Top man.
Kikó ‒ Successful, likeable and much better looking version of Foe. He is the Harris Gin, Grapefruit and Fever Tree, the reverse cowgirl with plugs, Season 2 of the Grand Tour. He's how I get my rocks off, and we both fucking love it.
Lee ‒ Chuffed he's back, but what an absolute prick for leaving in the first place. One of the best posters just disappearing? Nah fuck that. Arsehole!
Lewis ‒ Always has been and always will be one of my favourites. An actual inspiration for how to be on a forum.

In his case it's definitely the kindness that kills him. We just don't do that over here. If you're not calling someone a cunt and laughing at their misfortune, then can they really be called a mate? We tend to save insincerity and fake niceties for people we don't actually like. It's a hell of a culture clash.

I was going to try one using the dash cam to record the audio so you’d all have some nice motorway scenery to look at but I tried this last time too and I have zero to say about 90% of posters. Probably a bad attention span on my part because a lot of them are regular enough listening to JF’s.

Sounds like something Lewis or Bamster made up. As Trump has proved, get something out there, no matter how wrong, it becomes facht.

Right, for the last two days I've been dealing with various response meetings while trying to pull together a forecast of what this might do to our business, against some assumptions given by group about the impact on revenue.
Now, you might think that's the stereotypical money grabbing corporate approach, but far from it, every single conversation we've had has been with the objective of keeping employees safe, while keeping the business going, so that everyone has a job when this thing is over.
We as a business, due to the nature of what we do, are less exposed than other businesses and are in a good liquidity position, but that doesn't last forever.
The conclusion I've come to is that unless a vaccine is found, tested and administered successfully, faster that at any point in all of human history, this is going to take society, as we know it, down. Down. Dead. Finished.
Unemployment will be at 90%, food will be in very short supply, money will be worthless and law and order will be gone, which will kill many more people than the actual pandemic itself.
This is an existential crisis and one that is only solved by either a quick vaccine, social distancing (on a scale that a population that aren't even taking this seriously cannot pull off) or by doing something utterly unpalatable.
You whopper. :D

You said that you've been having meetings at work and that's the conclusion you came to off the back of them.
Yeah, cause the numbers are/were fucking grim.
The government has since stepped in and given everyone free money I should add.
Maybe I need to be clearer, but if that was the conclusion I came to from the meetings (rather than the numbers) wouldn't that be because others were predicting doom?
The nature of a vocal list means there will be a far greater variation in quality. I'd generally read even the most half arsed written list in full, but while I've listened to and enjoyed Floyd's in its entirety I got under a minute into Shindig's and am now off to make a fortune selling it as a non chemical alternative to Dignitas.

PART ONE
Adamski ‒ I thought he was a cunt for ages, but I think it was because he (probably fairly) called me a dickhead for something once, and in classic #teamsensitive fashion I seethed for about 18 months and read all his posts through a lens of my bitterness. Now I think he's alright. Swear I've not seen him around for a while, but he's pretty funny at times. Deffo lolled at one or two of his posts.
Adra - Don't really know much about the guy but was impressed and infuriated by how quickly he figured out I was a wolf
Andy - Always enjoy reading his posts, even if they're about stuff i don't give a shit about. Good poster.
Bam - He seems barely literate, but I can't help but enjoy the consistency of his posting style. To test my theory I went on his profile, and in just his 7 most recent posts he's managed to call yev "cunt", "wanker", "prick", "manchild", and accused him of wetting the the bed AND shitting his pants. :D Never change, you thick old cunt.
Baz - When people use the word "banter" and the phrase "cheeky chappy", the kind of sour cunts I know IRL immediately groan and assume you're talking about some wanker like Joe Wicks or Dapper Laughs or something. Baz is absolutely ace, but he really is a cheeky chappy with good banter, isn't he? He's consistently a good poster generally, and clearly cares about the place a lot, but it's his mischievous side that really sets him apart from the crowd. There's a touch of beavis and butthead about him, in a good way, and the way he sometimes crosses the line adds to the appeal as far as I'm concerned. The perfect Baz post will illicit some kind of laughing emoji, but also a "fucking hell" or an "oh my god",you know?
Boydy - One of my absolute favourites. Probably my pick for smartest on the board. I think it helps that we have quite a lot of shared perspectives and outlooks on the world (both neurotic dickheads), and completely empathise and relate to the kind of...drifting and underachieving as an adult, and rolled my eyes when people always used to say lol u went oxford why u not lawyer lazy cunt (while, obviously, not saying shit to Lewis for sitting on his mums sofa all day watching hulk hugan videos and writing business secrets of the pharaohs cus he puts less :( emojis in his posts). One of the elite few who I will regularly chat with away from the board (A list name drop), and will genuinely ask the cunt for advice, and we had a sort of tradition for moaning about our terrible tinder dates to each other on fb chat before lockdown ruined that. Top, Top bloke. Though my opinion is slowly shrinking each time he pathetically swerves suggestions of meeting up for a MAD WEEKEND. It'll be fun, I promise.
bruhnaldo ‒ Ahh, bruh is great. I think he's a prime example of how having people with different outlooks and perspectives helps the board. Sometimes his sensitive jars with the prevailing glib, pisstakey tone of the place, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Appreciate his sincerity and i like seeing someone in America actually passionate about MLS.
Dan ‒ He's so clearly a massive fucking greb, which I like. The kind of guy I'd see when me and my mates have inexplicably gone out in somewhere shit like Leicester, and have gone to some "alternative club" cus we didn't wanna pay £10 to get into some shit charty place. Dan would politely nod and say "yeah!" when I notice his Eddie Guerrero t shirt and spend 5 minutes talking at him about how much I loved 2002-03 smackdown. Enjoy his posts, seems like a nice lad.
Dark Soldier ‒ Excellent bloke, and a great poster. Shame for us that he's not as active these days, but probably not for him, and I definitely don't begrudge the fact he seems a lot happier these days. Funny and interesting generally, and I always read his stuff, but IMO his heart-wrenching stuff about how government policy would directly effect him around the time of the ...Milliband (?) election is some of the absolute best and most moving stuff I've ever read on here. I still think the way he plays FM. winning every single game 8-0 with some tactic where his strikers score 50 goals, while agonizing over his transfer policy is fucking bizarro behaviour, but each to their own.
Disco ‒ Consistently good poster. Has a great, slightly idiosyncratic way of writing which means I enjoy his posts even if they're about something shit like formula one.
Don ‒ Glad he's back, he's one of the best at funny insults. If you took a load of random posts from people and removed the name of the author, Taz is someone you'd DEFINITELY be able to identify, but I think it did get a bit much at times in his previous spells. And I still don't know what that fucking >* thing means.
five time ‒ Always assumed it was a Booker T reference. Don't have much to say, but wanted to include him cus he's really good.
Giggles ‒ He's a weird old bastard, but hugely valuable to the board. As someone who is genuinely a pretentious, pseudy cunt, I'm obviously the polar opposite of his fucking spaghetti is for posers, four four fucking two worldview, but I still generally enjoy his posts. I love the little insights into his life, and I love the contradiction of him suspending his cynical, SIDEWALKS FOR REGULAR WALKING, NOT FANCY WALKING outlook specifically for slow-cooker curries.
IanWebly ‒ Just seems like a lovely man. Consistently interesting poster, and like the little glimpses he shows us of his personal life.
ItalAussie ‒ He's brilliant. I like how always seems slightly removed from the childish bantz of us idiots, but not in an annoying way. Like a cool teacher.
Jeet ‒ I honestly thought he was someone's sock puppet for ages.
Jimmy Floyd ‒ He's easily my ATG favourite poster. He's not the funniest (but he's up there, and is a bit underrated in that regard), but from my perspective he's just the best writer on here by a fucking mile. In a fair world he'd have some general interest column in the Telegraph, or at least, I dunno, get the occasional article published on cricinfo. He clearly cares a lot about this place, but I think his posting style seems quite effortless, and I'd have to edit, re-edit, then just give up and post a stupid youtube video instead if I tried to match something he just typed out without really thinking about it.
I am a massive lefty guardianista wanker, and despite that I still generally think "eh, fair enough" re: his clearly incorrect one-nation conservatism, though there's a deluded side of me that dreams he'll one day wake up and go "oh shit", and then end up a Labour MP by 50. Can't believe I'm fucking sharing this, but I actually had a dream around the last general election where I went into the thread and saw Jimmy had posted something like "you know what, I was wrong all these years, and I'm going to vote Labour". Even if it remains a dream, he's still a top bloke.
John - When people actually visited the forum, having a harsh Patriarchal figure like John might have helped I suppose, to keep idiots in check, but now it's a bit like Rimmer trying to give orders to Lister on Red Dwarf. Less Malcolm Tucker, more half-way between Begbie and one of the Jack Dee clips from Grumpy Old Men that got edited out for being too boring.
Lewis - I basically see Lewis like I see ambiguously right wing American comics like Norm Macdonald, or viral videos of mentally ill people; I know I shouldn't, but I can't stop watching and laughing. I wouldn't say he's my OUTRIGHT 100% definite pick for best poster on here, but if the cunt dropped dead tomorrow this place would be absolutely fucked. The most consistently funny person on here by a mile, and one of the more intelligent. He isn't as smart as he thinks he is, but I think that makes him funnier in a way. I enjoy having people like Lewis around for selfish reasons as well, because if a dickhead like that roasts you flawlessly for years, getting even the occasional thing to land in the other direction is very satisfying.
There's that cliche of a fan of a top, top club sneeringly saying something like"that was like a cup final for you" to a fan of a smaller team who've fluked a 1=0, and I'm happy to admit Lewis that those times in may 2016 and july 2017 or whenever when I said something reasonably funny taking the piss out of you were absolutely like cup finals and i'm wearing the fucking medals now you cunt.

The problem with a Jimmy list (the only problem) is that as soon as you've read it/listened to it, you know that your own is going to be a shitter version of his, so what's the point? Same goes for Lewis.
Jimmy meeting Henry in the Chandos was a highlight, as I've been there a number of times. Also, his general tone and cynicism (?) should see him as a regular on the Guardian football weekly, or something. Definitely an element of Barry Glendening, as someone else mentioned.
Great stuff.

Alan Shearer The 2nd ‒
Alex ‒
Andy ‒ Andy is harmless, good poster who offers a kind of sanitised version of Bam without the virtriol. I like him.
AyDee ‒
Bam ‒ Bam is proper brainwrong. Comes in and gets heated up about something, makes himself look like a twat then fucks off for a bit. This rinses and repeats. Probably lives in Jaywick.
Baz ‒ Baz is a difficult one to understand and I don’t really trust his mindset or behaviour. Maybe it's the constant referral links.
Bernanke ‒
Bob Sacamano ‒
Boydy ‒
Browning ‒
bruhnaldo ‒ Hyperactive and really doesn't get when he's getting the piss taken out of him. Useful to have around though epecially because he gives us real america.
Byron ‒ Lovely guy again who should post a bit more on here. Another I've met a number of times.
CJay ‒
Clunge ‒
Dan ‒
Danny ‒
Dark Soldier ‒
Dave. ‒
Disco ‒ Makes me think he'd be the same as Duke in real life but I don't really know why other than one liners and dry wit.
Don ‒ I've bumped into him a number of times in London by accident. Terrible hair do aside, he's a nice guy. Saying that, we were in a pub in Stoke Newington for the United Liverpool game (seperately, I managed to find the only Liverpool pub for the first half) and thought who is this annoying twat in front of me. Lo and behold, it was fucking Taz the johnny come lately wanker. We said hello later.
five time ‒
Foe ‒ Sporadic posts aside and meeting him years back (when he was lovely), he doesn't get involved much outside of the job thread and finance one.
Giggles ‒ Okay so we don't always get along. It may come across sometimes but the bastard thinks I'm some showboating twat (maybe a little) but it's not true. Anyway, keep posting, I do find it funny arguing with you and pleasantly surprised when we get along.
Gray Fox ‒
Greg ‒
Guybrush ‒
Henry ‒
hfswjyr ‒
IanWebly ‒ Ian's lovely even though we talk mostly about nothing to each other. Maybe a little bit of football occasionally but seems a cracking chap.
igor_balis ‒
ItalAussie ‒ He's one of the good guys. Shame he doesn't offer us the views from the science perpsective.
-james- ‒ Enjoyed boozing with him many moons ago. Not much thread crossover.
Jeet ‒ I think Jimmy put it best. Some dude added me on linkedin with Jeet in his name and I thought it was him but thinking about it, he was quite a successful travel agent guy so it surely couldn't be him.
Jimmy Floyd ‒ We met all those moons ago and he wasn't black which still surprises me. Great poster, interesting, insightful, easy to get along with. Needs to chill out at work.
John ‒ I think John probably pisses everyone off in some way with his blunt putdowns but tbh, that's part of his charm. Don't take him so seriously.
John Arne ‒ Great to have the Asia representative full time (Bolton Massiv RIP) and having that world viewpoint is cool. Probably on the run.
Josh ‒
Lee ‒ I've known Lee for a while now. We went to Portugal together for the Euro League tournament which was pretty good fun. He managed to get to the point where he was chucking up in the toilet as I fell in love with a breasty barmaid then ending the night with fish tacos somewhere in Porto. I guess the funnier story is we chose not to move the car for 3 days and leave it on the pavement outside a shop. The day we are leaving we are walking towards the car and noticing it doesn't seem to be there. It had been towed that morning so cue a mad dash to the train station to the get the only train to Lisbon and leaving my mate to go to the compound to pick up the hire car (thankfully he was staying on or otherwise we'd have been fucked). TL:DR - Nice chap.
Lewis ‒ Would love to meet him. Razor sharp wit and has the biggest database on everyone (or insane recall like Operation Blackjack). Very hard to imagine what he'd be like in person. Obviously vital to this place.
Limoutsonik ‒
Lofty ‒
Luca ‒ Luca is brilliant. Genuinely impressive in real life with his achievements and can really do anything he sets his mind to. Met him when he was about 16 like the turbo nonce I am so basically groomed him.
Luke Emia ‒
Magic ‒ Glad he's finished that upsetting relationship and hoping it means he can fix his life. He's progressed massively since he was tragic custard and one of the best on here.
Sir Andy Mahowry ‒ Evolved from 1-0 posts (which I'm now doing for euro 96) to giving us probably the greatest story ever with Ukraine (fuck off Giggles). Much better since he started sharing.
Manc ‒
Max Power ‒
Mazuuurk ‒ I met Maz in Sweden in the Europa League final but barely remember him because I had drank too much. I think he was a lovely guy. Offers some interesting shit.
Mellberg ‒ Mellin is a staple on here -nice bloke. Funny to think the one time we met was also with Dr Barry who ended up getting blasted of about 2 pints.
Mike ‒ Seems a fucking lovely bloke to be honest. More straight and normal compared to Baz.
mikem ‒
mo ‒
mugbull ‒ Has the Phonics absolutism about him but probably backed up with some knowledge. Hard to take him too seriously consiering his initial beginnings here (tennis player cum American model or something batshit?). He's pretty readable though.
neo_hippy ‒
niko_cee ‒ Niko is too clever for me. I think he's Ian Dunt (bald 40 something intellectual?). One of my favourites.
Offshore Toon ‒ Think he'd be great on a night out and maybe for a discussion on Newcastle's new owners. I'm enjoying the cycle posts.
Panda Bear ‒ Was in the group once, during that no shoe phase of his life. Left because ?? But anyway, don't know what he's done in the last 5 years.
Pen ‒ Pen was in London not so long ago with his mate. Had been drinking all day after going to the QPR match and shared his snuss with us. I can tell why the guy wasn't drunk after 10 pints because the nicotine rush from that snuss blows your face off. I was sat there like a gormless twat with chewing tobacco in my gums. Meanwhile, Pen and mate had another 5 ciders. Lovely chap who likes stripes.
Pepe ‒ Kinda good, kinda simple in his offering. That's cool, bit of a sneerer at the back of the class type poster.
phonics ‒ You know when you fucking regret using a couple of words because it then becomes a thing on here? "Informal pint" is now in urban dictionary for having a beer with a person of the internet while with your wife. Anyway, when he's not being completely overconfident with a wrong opinion, he offers a lot to this places balance.
Pleb ‒
P_3 ‒
Queenslander ‒ We agreed on something in the Covid thread so ultimately he's brilliant.
randomlegend ‒
Raoul Duke ‒ Another very nice guy who I've met multiple times. Funny and offers a slightly different viewpoint to others which is useful for this place. Sarcastic bastard.
Reg ‒
Revolution ‒
ScousePig ‒ Scouse teacher view is interesting and now the Sunderland view is good to read from whatever division they're in now.
Serj ‒
Shindig ‒ Think he's massively wrongheaded with some opinions which are just major simplifications of complex things. Probably peaked with that Stewart Lee thing. I used to have a mate who was funny when fat, then lost it when he became a gym freak. I imagine it's the same with Shindig but instead of weight loss, it was the dole people breaking his soul.
SincereTheRebel ‒ No idea how he's here but thankful he is. He's such a different character which is brilliant. Gutted the meet failed when he had bought the train ticket.
Smjffy ‒ Jeez, what do you say about him that hasn't already been said? I think he's more stable? The number of job changes and location changes must be exhausting. Master of long winded posts about things that are mainly wrong.
Spikey M ‒ Easy to forget that the former small headed one left this place for ages then came back and fitted right back in. Good poster even if he wants to argue with me the little twat.
Spoonsky ‒ Another "remember when" story. I met Spoons in Paris for the first time as he was mooching about on his summer mormon tour and we met in some parisian bar (informal pint with the wife etc). My mate is a tout, rough Manc bastard and managed to find a ticket for him for the final so we all ended up going to the game. I think he was sat in the Portuguese end bouncing about as they won. Good chap.
SvN ‒ From a board perspective, pretty much crucial. Better than Mark imo. I like reading his musings in the job thread and generally around football. Good poster.
The Merse ‒ Won't say anything bad as he lives near me. Nothing offensive anyway about him, good furniture poster (in a nice way)
thommo ‒
7om ‒
Trancemeister ‒ He's not really posted has he?
Vercetti ‒ Oh come on, Pards can't post for two minutes and then expect a list entry.
Waffdon ‒ I'd love to have a beer one time when I'm up to Dundee. Has his challenges in life with his booze, birds and gambling but he'll sort it out. Troll bastard on twitter.
wullie ‒ I remember when you were great and now I don't know where you post.
Yaysus ‒
Yeldoow ‒
Yevrah ‒ Yev is another important poster and even though we don't always agree (mainly because he's such a fucking absolutist), I enjoy reading his posts. Another vital cog in this place and has a unique norfolk viewpoint. Basically Alan Partridge.

Kiko shaking it up by filling in his entries in order of poster quality instead of alphabetically I see.

He's literally exactly the same.
I'll pay attention to the rest of you for the rest of the weekend to add to the list.

Auld Shillelagh?

There's about 15 miles of eastward journey from me to Roy Hodgson (the archetypal Croydon accent) and then another 30 or so miles to the Medway. I'm pretty offended.
:D
Yeah, I knew that would be the wrong thing to say. Let's just say neither of you sound anything like the good folk of Strood or whatever the shitpit next to Rochester is called.
What a top result on google [for Strood] (https://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/news/police-called-over-drive-thru-gridlock-227556/)
Zak Owen, of Station Road, Strood, said McDonald’s was "not taking into account the lives of the people who live in the Medway Towns"
:D
Auld Shillelagh?
The one.

Great pub. Watched most Liverpool games there in the 2013-14 season.

Alright, Keeks; you're safe if I bump into you down Budgens, I guess.
