I have long believed that people who leave shopping trolleys around the car park should be banned from the shop, and now somebody has put it all nicely into words. This also goes for putting baskets correctly in their place. The amount of times you see them all not fitting together properly because some dickhead has just chucked it on top of the others. Fucking hell. Let's smoke the scummers out.

Not all the supermarkets round here still do the coin / token thing.

Which just means you see them sitting about on random street corners but then a lot of the people in my area are pretty scummy so story checks out I guess.

I can't remember the last time I saw a trolley you had to put a pound in. They had a magnetic border thing at the edge of the carpark which would lock the wheels if you tried to take the trolley out at one of the supermarkets I'm sure.

But yes, not putting your trolley away is shitlord behaviour.

9 times out of 10 I’ll return it. And I’m talking about the ‘free’ ones that don’t require a quid/token to use. But if it’s raining and I’ve a moaning toddler with me, I have just shoved it on the grass and drove off. It’s someone’s job to round them up anyway.

So yeah it’s very very rare I won’t put it back, but it does happen so that’s why I voted no.

The theory claims you gain nothing by putting it back, but it's pretty fun trying to push it into the back of another trolley from 10m-20m away.
