This place is getting proper shit so let's try and talk about something interesting.

Obviously I'm talking about when everything is open again.

I'm going to fly straight to Berlin and have a kebab-fuelled bender. Might do a Brighton/London night the same weekend too. Unless it falls on Glastonbury weekend, then I'm going to head to the Tor with a tent as I'm sure there'll still be a party.

Go outside.

Head out to a countryside golf club and shoot a glorious 105.

Or try and shag one of the girls I’ve been chatting to.

Tough call.

Go on a last minute holiday somewhere. Probably in the UK unfortunately.

Not sure I want to be heading to any overly busy places straight after lockdown is lifted.

No, in all seriousness they’re going to go out of this far too soon because of economy so I’ll still be following procedures as they are now for a good while after it’s lifted.

If they're allowing people to fly for holidays surely it'll mostly be put to bed?

I'm getting a stupid haircut, like a bright blue mohawk or something and then going to the pub.

I want to go back to New York.

I'll probably hold off for a while.

The serious answer is me seeing the family for the first time in months.

Can I have this also please actually. I’d forego golf and rejection for some live sport.

Play pickup football I think. My friend and I were kicking around the other day just the two of us, but it's not the same.

The sport break is making me wonder if it’s worth going back to watching at all. Haven’t missed it in the slightest yet.

What the fuck do you do with your time? I've realized I find entertainment basically in anything sport and almost nothing scripted these days.

Only thing I got excited for on Netflix was Sunderland's doc, having spent the entire last year ignoring the lower leagues so I could be surprised by what happens.

With two episodes left someone in the group chat let out a "I think they're 10th in league one now!" which ruined the rest of it for me entirely.

I just watch telly. Like actual telly as opposed to streaming.

I’d probably go back to watching some sport anyway, anything I actually went to at least, but you wouldn’t want to use the break to stop for too long to think about how stupid it actually all is.

The only thing I've missed sport-wise so far has been the Masters. If this goes on all year and takes out the whole cricket season though (as it probably will) I'm going to be bereft.

When it ends the first thing I will do is get on the golf course and/or go on a long drive to somewhere scenic. I'm also planning to Ice Cold in Alex the first pint.

I'm just looking forward to all the footballers coming back the size of Pre-Season Ronaldo (the proper one). Every fixture will be won and lost in the opening 20 minutes and Mark Noble will be England captain at Euro 2021 after being the only eligible player not to have left his house for the duration of the lockdown.

My 2020 plan was to sort my pay rise (was originally lined up for Easter) and get a flat by the end of summer, so hopefully the lending market doesn't fall off a cliff along with property values.

Pretty sure google new my new card details and updated them on gpay before I got the card which was slightly alarming.

There's a service banks provide that authorised companies can pay to access that lets them be notified of upcoming payment detail changes. Means it updates card details and stops Direct Debits expiring and saving you a load of ballache updating things. It's been around a while, totally legit. APIs move faster than the post service.

In answer to the thread: probably not much. Would like to get a haircut and eat out. Maybe go for a pint, but I'm still going to be wary.

Longer-term I'm going to move to Amsterdam and then go for dinner at a fancy restaurant. If I get that I'll be happy.

Just have a proper catch up with my friends I suppose.

Probably go to the beach if the weather is good, otherwise about the same just with more leaving the house. Maybe enjoy going to a supermarket without having to queue to get into it.

Vercetti

My nearest supermarket has already stopped making people queue. They seem to have knocked it on the head yesterday. Everyone is just flowing in like normal again.

If the Spanish model for coming out of lockdown is a look into our future, then we may all have to make do with a trip to a book shop.

One day. Don't think I've ever been to Norfolk actually. Ely probably the closest, or Peterborough.
