I always buy quite expensive hot chocolate (image below) and always do it in a pan using milk, no cream on top. Those instant ones using water are crap.

All chocolate flavoured things that aren’t chocolate are shite. These drinks and ice cream being the biggest offenders.

My Mrs drinks the Options shite when she's on a diet. My daughter might - MIGHT - have had one. I'm unsure. She doesn't like chocolate milkshake, so I'm hopeful she's wired correctly. My boy hasn't tried it but does like Chocolate Icecream. He lives in the garden now.

I never minded Cacolat or whatever it was called on those long lost sojourns to Catalonia.

When I make it for the kids it's milk in with the powder to make a paste, then hot water, and probably then more milk to make it drinkable for a child. SO either 2 or 3. Hot chocolate is shit.

No. Never been, but I got fisted at the McDonald's in Antalya airport. They put the prices up without the currency.

"Big mac meal 16.00". I assumed Lira, it was Euros. I spent 45€ feeding the 3 of us and only found out when we got home.

Above a certain (low) price, there is probably a strong inverse relationship between price and quality. I’d venture to suggest you ended up at the worst among the tourist traps aimed at daft Americans, and they dun got you gud.
