Lets face it, when all the faffing about is done we're all going to be on proper lockdown soon. Apart from eating, drinking, and TV binges has anyone else a load of things they've been putting off for years that they want to do while they're off?

If I come out of this alive I want to have at least 4 Udemy courses done and have an idea what to do with my Raspberry Pi other than use it as a paperweight. I'm also going to remove every single living organism from my garden except the lawn.

Don't ruin your garden with that minimalist lawn shit, let it grow wild and fabulous with a diverse array of plants :maggotry:

There's not much on Netflix and Prime that's worth my time so aside from the occasional film on Mubi, I'm really enjoying my 1,000 piece jigsaw and bashing through books at a good rate. Would also like to take up pencil drawing and brush up on my Farsi if this goes on for months. Still dedicating close to an hour a day to masturbation which I have no plans on giving up.

Alright, the decision about the online work courses has been made: For the sake of my H1/2 or whatever thing I'm trying to prep, I'll take two half-hour easy courses on some soft skills. Or those Word and Excel courses. German gets done in my own time plus I think that's a video call type situation.

Would it interest you to know that when the Eddystone lighthouse burned down in the 17-whatevers the 95 year old keeper took days to die from ingesting molten lead that fell from the roof. The piece of lead is now in a Scottish museum I can't remember the name of.

Are you patching up existing grass or trying to lay a lawn?

If the former, just wet the ground, dump a load if grass seeds down on the patches, and use a shovel to stab the shit out of the ground you put it on. Birds will eat some, enough will remain to fill the gap.

If the latter, just lay some turf.

I don’t understand. How will killing weeds = a lot of weeds?

If your lawn is genuinely about half moss and you remove the majority of that then it'll leave plenty of space for a lot of weed seeds to germinate given it's spring.

I do heavy moss removal in autumn for that reason.

I played 7 wonders the other day on tabletop simulator. I didn't realise tabletop sim actually simulates the physical action of playing it like you would in real life, i.e. having to physically move the cards around and shit. like a version of online poker where you have to shuffle the cards yourself, i fucking hated it.

I've just noticed there are 3 different reds going on there and couldn't be more bothered by it now.In an ideal world every bit of wood would be like FF0000 red, but the fact that most of the fence panels were already brown when I got the house means I'd have to paint them with at least one coat of white first, and then at least two coats of red. F that. So the shed was some cheap brown paint I found in Asda, the red fence panel on the right is brand new and hasn't been painted - it just came that colour and I have no paint - and the fences on the left belong to my neighbour and he kindly paints both sides because he's nice.

It takes about a week to get the starter going but all you have to do is add some more flour and water each day. I don't think the actual baking process is any more difficult.
