In fairness, most of them are intrinsically bad for gaming as ventilation is impeded. This is after all just a pc, just like every Xbox up to now.

Can it lie on its side? Mike was bullying me into getting one of these, rather than the new Playstation, but no chance if it has to stand on the carpet next to the telly, getting booted by a toddler.

I don't think it can. It has clear feet on the bottom but nowhere else. It also looks like the top is for the ventilation.

We've also not seen the PS5 yet so it could have a similar design.

Ive never owned an Xbox and never will. Im more interested in the PS. My whole life movement revolves around it now.

I expected a full sellout on these too but the Series S seems well in stock considering, which given the price, surprises me.

Is the Series S just the version that doesn't have the disc tray? As in, other than the box it comes in is there any other difference?

Pretty much everything in the Series S is a downgrade.

Got a Series X ordered, GamePass has swayed me big time. Will look at the cheaper PS5 in a few years for exclusives.

You're best off linking it to Discord and selecting what updates you want. You'll have to be fast if something does pop up though.

It even works for the accessories too. I know on the blue side of things, getting ahold of the official charging station or the headset is next to impossible. Thanks to Discord or that pinging my phone one day I managed to get both before they sold out in 10 mins.

I could have had an XB X|S tonight but I don't feel like extorting anyone.

Forgot I’d set up stockinformer so in the same week as buying a Switch, an email pinged in my inbox saying Currys have the Series X. :uhoh:

Set it up last night. Both the console and the controller look and feel far superior to the PS5 and GamePass seems awesome. Hoping to actually get back into playing games on a console.

First thing I did was play a bit of Tony Hawk 3 on an emulator.
