Now I'm not ready to throw my considerable support behind this yet. I mean, free electric with no pollution and unlimited water sound like the kind of thing which, if this easy, should be here already. But I'd love to work at this kind of place (if I was actually good at building stuff), and this guy seems legitimately pleasant.

Harold, the most anti green person of all time, posting this :D

Mate I thought it was all a conspiracy by the left that population change and an increasing reliance on carbon would need to lead us to such revolutions?

edit: Hey I worked with that guy! Very inspirational bloke.

I have a electric car which means I am free from sorting my trash and support local farmers.

I'm not anti-green if it costs nothing and has no negative effects, why would I be? Besides, the thrust of this is about lifting up the poor, not green issues.

I never said anything about climate change being a conspiracy - I simply stated that the human cause probably isn't as great as has been claimed and climate change will and does happen regardless. But regardless, stay on topic.

Not going to watch a 40 minutes video posted by Harold. What is it about?

Well I posted it, so why would you want to know?

Truth is, I can't watch any 40 minutes video as I'm in the lab right now. As for your question: curiosity.

I heard the word graphene. Is it about graphene?

Our Solution: Free Electric

The Free Electric machine gives people the power to generate electricity themselves – pollution free. The machine is small, light and simple. Here’s how it works: A person pedals a hybrid bicycle. The bicycle wheel drives a flywheel, which turns a generator, which charges a battery. Pedaling for one hour yields electricity for 24 hours with no utility bill, and no exhaust, no waste.

Seriously? :face:

Seriously? :face:

What's the problem?

See video. It takes that much power to make one toast. I can only produce 700 watts for about 5 seconds.

Yep. Fair point, well made.

From Google:

In 2013, the average annual electricity consumption for a U.S. residential utility customer was 10,908 kilowatthours (kWh), an average of 909 kWh per month.

30 days in a month = 720 hours. That is a continuous production of 1,262.5 watts. I can produce about 230 watts in one hour. Froome can probably produce slightly above 400.

That Olympic cyclist look like a body builder with loads of steroids. A quick look at Google show the cyclists are all thin. Pepe what's going on?

Sprint cyclists definitely aren't skinny, even if this guy is unusually muscular.

There is no way in hell this guy passes doping tests.

I'm not having those sums, Pepe. It sounds brilliant, and I expect the oil companies and/or Jews have put you up to smearing the project.

Well my advisor is the director of the 'Consortium for Clean Coal Utilization' so you might be up to something.
