We're already in the second half of the calendar year (sob) which means that qualifying and things for next season is already under way as well as the various international things across gender and age groups going on because THE FOOTBALL MUST NEVER STOP.

I have quite enjoyed the Women's World Cup now the group stage mismatches are done and dusted and was quite disappointed yesterday to realise a) that there wasn't any on and b) that I'm going to miss the England / USA game.

We sacked Garry Monk a few weeks back. The only guy who has evenly looked remotely competant in the 2.5 years since they sacked the last competant guy in Gary Rowett. We are a shambles, our board are a bunch of clueless arseholes and we are still under a transfer embargo. Another fight against relegation beckons. Fuck.

It always messes about with our season as clubs come over for friendlies. Shels are playing Hearts tonight I think and Chelsea (reserves) are playing Pats in 2 weeks which messes up a session for me, though that's another story.
European stuff is rolling about too which is good though, as we're still small time enough that you want all the clubs to do well.

I don't know what the implications are of such an arrangement but I couldn't give any less of a shit. He dramatically improved our performances whilst bringing in one transfer and a few loans and he was loved by the fans. If we can bring in someone like Chris Hughton then fair enough but if it's some bullshit like Alan Pardew I'm officially giving up and turning to Baseball.

This Dundalk squad is about the strongest that there's been from here in over a decade but the Latvians are apparently heavily backed financially and would be strong favourites.

"Roy is doing his team-talk and going around to a couple of lads and, rightly or wrongly, he was talking to one lad from London who was nineteen and said 'look, I don't think you are going to make it in the game. I don't see you being consistent enough, you will probably be back in London next year doing drive-by shootings with your friends'.

"We are all sitting there, 'Holy God'."

Roy went on 'one week I look at you and you're controlling the game, the next week I can't find you on the pitch, but it's OK because I don't blame you. I blame your parents for the way they brought you up.'

It depends how the lad takes it but everyone is different. The last lad he went, 'do you want to be a footballer, or do you want to collect piss for a living like that fella?' And all you see is the drug tester in the corner and the poor fella didn't know what was going on.

The court of arbitration for sport has deemed the African Champions League final 2nd leg is to be replayed.

For info, Wydad Casablanca were playing Esperance and after a 1-1 in the first leg, were 1-0 down in the second leg. They then scored a goal which was disallowed by officials on the pitch. The Wydad players went mad and demand the ref check with VAR. This is when the referee let them know he couldn't as it wasn't working. Wydads players left the pitch in protest and refused to return. Referee abandoned the game declaring Esperance winners.

Following the decision by CAS, Esperance has filed an appeal to quash the decision and be declared winner, whilst Wydad have appealed and demanded to be named winner outright themselves and receive the prize money and medals.

If you ever want to watch the biggest shitfest football has to offer, watch a vaguely important club game between two North African sides. Each team generally has a hired West African striker who runs around fruitlessly up top, and the rest of the game is just 10 greased up losers (and maybe a token bald defender) rolling around on the deck and waving imaginary cards.

Chuck VAR into the mix and a black ref (they are all hugely racist on the Med) and it's a perfect firestorm. From what I've read, Wydad are fully in the wrong and should be thrown out.

Ireland (/ˈaɪərlənd/ (listen); Irish: Éire [ˈeːɾʲə](listen); Ulster-Scots: Airlann [ˈɑːrlən]) is an island in the North Atlantic. It is separated from Great Britain to its east by the North Channel, the Irish Sea, and St George's Channel. Ireland is the name of both a country and an island. If you are visiting Belfast you are both 'visiting Northern Ireland' AND 'visiting Ireland'. I'm not sure why that's controversial at this point.

Ireland is an island in the North Atlantic.

Politically, Ireland is divided between the Republic of Ireland (officially named Ireland), which covers five-sixths of the island, and Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom.

From what I understand that's not meant to be their permanent location after a couple years when they move to actual Miami and not Fort Lauderdale. The location in the video is meant to be their training ground as well as hold other events considering it's a historical location in South Florida re: American football.

ALTHOUGH I don't necessarily buy all that considering the push back they've had on their site choices in actual Miami....

At any rate, this is what the actual stadium is supposed to look like:
