.....that will be shunned/not allowed in future.

I'll start with, eating meat. I'm pretty sure that at some point in the not too distant future, maybe even in my lifetime, Western countries will cease to find this practice acceptable and that'll be that.

It'll be a great shame as meat mostly makes a meal, so enjoy it while you can.

Over to you.

Nothing really. It's all a cycle. It happened in the 60's, some of it stuck around, but mostly we reverted to form during the 70's.

We're going through a cunty phase at the moment, but society is already biting back, so it won't progress much further. Bamster will be free to Bam again soon.

I'm sure there are more categories of people who have life the easiest you've missed off there. The rich and handsome, for a start

A while back two of my colleagues were talking about the parental controls they have on their home internet, and they simply wouldn't accept that finding filth online is a fundamental rite of passage. It's bad enough that this and subsequent generations will probably never know the thrill of finding a grumble mag in the woods, but to have that taken away from them, just because their parents actually know how to use computers, seems a shame.

High heels. I don't understand what anyone gets from them.

Baz is right.

People get alcohol for people in high heels.

Short skirts.

They'll soon know that they're merely used to invite rape and will be banned.

Smoking might get completely replaced by vaping. Except in Japan.

Vaping’s ‘illegal’ in parts of Asia, no?

Also, we'll no longer be buying physical media at some point in the next 20 years. Unless you're a collector.

Because of environmental or other reasons, Yev?

I think there will have to be immediate danger to any country that gives up meat. People don't want to do it for their great great great grandkids.

The internet/large parts of modern technology. One day we'll revert back to the Victorian/middle/stone age* and our era will be frowned upon. I'm yet to decide if it'll be a conscious decision or enforced.

*slight exaggeration perhaps
