PLEASE NOTE: IN THE POLL YOU ARE VOTING FOR WHICH WILL HAPPEN FIRST.

Man City didn't quite manage it (https://www.thethirdhalf.co.uk/showthread.php?1918-Can-Man-City-Become-The-Invincibles) but can Liverpool.

Wolves away tonight could prove to be a tricky test (and one of the earliest [/b]/thread[/b]s in history) but let's get excited boys. Mike Smjffy Don Gray Fox niko_cee John Arne Boydy Luke Emia and whoever else we have on here who's a red. :happycry:

Results so far:

If they're still unbeaten after the City game, it's on.

Vote in the poll and discuss the likeliness of Liverpool going unbeaten all season.

Would it be as impressive as when Arsenal did it? Or moreso because the league is far more competitive than in 2004? Or what?

City will batter them.

They’ll lose tonight now you’ve posted this.

Given that Lovren said this I now fully expect him to gift City about three goals to ensure it definitely doesn't happen.

Or that.

Actually, maybe they'll go the season unbeaten but still lose the league to City because of too many draws.

Wolves are going to turn them over, just like the last time they came to Molineux.

I once took my cricket team unbeaten for the whole season and we came 3rd in the league, hopefully a similar fate awaits Kloppers.

I think they will 100% do it. Liverpool are the greatest.

Going the season unbeaten but still missing the title would be perfect, like that time they tried to convince people they'd won a treble and nobody cared.

I wonder why neutrals hate Liverpool

They could get to the final day against a team with 0 points and I still wouldn’t fancy them to do it.

Pleb
21-12-2018, 04:26 PM
To be fair I wouldn't be surprised if they did it just to see the seethe on the face of G.Nev.

I wouldn't say hate but they are thoroughly unlikeable.

I think we’ll get beat twice in the league. No idea who against.

niko_cee
21-12-2018, 05:24 PM
No they can't (go unbeaten) and Lovren is a massive fanny for even bringing it up.

City would be the most obvious candidate, but Wolves could easily get it done tonight.

No way.

I thought that was their run of fixtures, so hoped maybe United could NEW MANAGER BOUNCE them, but City seems like the best bet.

A lot of Liverpool is.

There’s a street called Scotland Road and in the surrounding area you’d struggle to find someone not Irish.

If it gets to the final day and Liverpool are still unbeaten, I might just strap a suicide vest round me, head up to Anfield and take one for the team.

Adding a tragedy into a league winning mix? With Liverpool? I'm not sure you've thought this through.

Don’t talk him out of it, I’ve already ordered the t-shirts.

It'd just be good to forever show Liverpool's title with a *(final game cancelled due to domestic terrorist attack) next to it, just to enrage their fans. It would never be a complete win.

This team is probably more akin to the 08/09 one. The 13/14 season only came about because from February we won about 11 league games on the bounce.

We'll find a way to fuck it somewhere.

That 13/14 was a bit false as well seeing as it was only on goal difference, and they were something like 5th 3 days later.

There's hardly anything to tell is there? People don't always like the same sports teams, simple as that.

Alright lad, chill out, it’s not that deep.

I don’t think we can got all season unbeaten, we’re bound to go through a bad patch at some point. To be honest, I’m surprised we didn’t lose after Lovren opened his mouth. I’m also not even entertaining the idea of thinking we’re going to win the league just yet as last time I truly started to think it would happen, Gerrard slipped. See what the situation is when we play City.

Liverpool are not the 2019 Invincibles, sadly.

They will still win the league though.
