I'll be happy losing 20-0 if it means Vrigil breaks Neymar in half.

Don't give a flying fuck how this goes with the caveat that it would be nice to take an early season dump on Neymar's hopes.

They're a godsend to anyone further west than Grenwich, 9pm kick offs are a joke.

Kemar Roofe out for the short term and Bamford out for the long? Not a problem. Say hello to Tyler Roberts, the new messiah.

I think my favourite thing about all this is that we're achieving it with the effectively the same squad that limped over the line last season, plus Barry Douglas and some lads on loan. Obviously Bamford was a big signing, but we had no real cause to even use him properly prior to the injury.

Jimmy Floyd

For some reason she embodies the 2001-3 period for me, for some reason, which is also the period when I was 13-15, my time of minimum life stress (as it is for most people) and therefore my permanent nostalgia touchpoint for marketing professionals to target.

Other cultural touchstones of that specific period: CM 01/02, reverence for Sven-Goran Eriksson as a genial professor figure, lolling at 'Dubya' being stupid, Rhona Martin winning the curling, the Dowler/Huntley murders (a real golden age for British child murder), Iain Duncan Smith, and The Office.

I think it ended when Outkast released 'Hey Ya', or possibly the decline of Craig David.
