Freelance Venezuelan journalist Roman Camacho reported on Twitter, citing “unofficial sources,” that a drone loaded with C4 (a type of plastic explosive) was detonated near the presidential box. Several army cadets were injured, but neither Maduro, nor any of his cabinet members have been hurt in the resulting explosion, he wrote.

The people who could do it (mainly the military) seem pretty on-side, so that is an interesting one. Maybe Labour Britain will bail them out as ideological partners.

Depends whose behind it. I'm not sure about Columbia's army but their drug lords might defend the national interests.

I thought this thread was going to confirm FM legend Hedwiges Maduro had retired - only 33, now playing for AC Omonia in Cyprus for those who thought the same.
