Also, they should abolish the third-place playoff.

On the contrary, they should have playoffs and plate competitions all the way down. Germany should still be duking it out with Iran for 19th.

I got England in the Sweepstake and my £2 could become £5 if we win, so the jokes on you.
Does anybody in the world, other than Jimmy because he'd love a bit of 7th place AFCON action, actually want these games?
Let the poor cunts go home.

I’ve never watched one. It’ll be English Reserves vs Belgium Reserves again, surely?
Could probably get a ticket on the day.

Does it count towards the Golden Boot? Kane will definitely play if so.

Did my post prompt this thread?
I wish we didn't have to play it really. Means nothing if we win it and if Belgium turn up we could get properly battered as they'll be the best side we've played at this tournament by a mile.

I suspect that Belgium, due to barely being a country, let alone one with football heritage, will probably go for it as 3rd place will mean something to them.
Absolute waste of time for any team that's either made a final before or won it though.

I think Southgate will pick a decent team. If there's any changes, it'll be with Alli and Sterling sitting it out. He'll want this group to come home on something of a high.

Not true, in certain circumstances it could qualify us for the Confederations Cup (though I don't think those circumstances will be met).
Speaking of which, our next competitive football is the UEFA Nations League this autumn in which we are in a three-team group containing Spain and...
I reckon he'll also give Welbeck the ultimate kick in the goolies and start him in this one.

Are you suggesting he might have mentioned his holiday a little too often? Careful.
