Attention! CDPR will be at E3 in the public zone with Cyberpunk 2077. Which means, presumably, some small chunk of it will be playable for normos.
Hopefully this means the game isn't too far away. A man can dream.
EDIT: God damn it.
CDPR say it won't be playable for normos, the public zone thing is for gameplay presentations for the public. Which is good-ish news I guess.

John Wick 2077
So after the E3 demo RPS and others had criticised it with issues they perceived regarding transphobia and that one of the predominantly black gangs is called "The Animals." Which given CDPR's record with not being a bit backwards on some of these things, y'know, maybe there's a case to be made.
Until Mike Pondsmith responded to some questions about that, rumours he's been sidelined in development, etc. with:
If I wasn't heavily involved, I would be able to get more done. As it is, I barely have a life.
As for the Animals--the WHOLE FREAKING POINT is that they think of themselves as POWERFUL, DANGEROUS, WILD ANIMALS. You'd have thought the Lady named "Sasquatch" would have given them a clue.
The original Voodoo Boys were a scathing commentary on cultural appropriation. I LOVE the idea that real practicioners of Voudon moved in and took back their turf. And they even got the Creole right!
Who the (bleep) do YOU think you are to tell ME whether or not MY creation was done right or not?

I thought the transpohbic thing was an absolute reach and a clear sign that people were clearly trying to just find another stick to beat people they didn't like with.
With specific regard to this particular internet furore I'd agree it was people think-of-the-children-ing over very little.
The problem (I was going to say 'unfortunately' but it's a problem of their own making) is that CDPR and GOG have form for trying to use both anti-transgender and pro-transgender memes, etc. for an ill-judged laugh.

Yeah I mean Cyberpunk looks super pretty but there's also no one thing about it that I've not seen elsewhere. Shindig
07-12-2020, 10:48 PM
Jeff Gerstmann wasn't too kind to it. I don't know if he was expecting more but he said it tonally felt off. Like a GTA clone of old with not a lot of character to the world. I'm not jumping into it when I've still got the Witchers to play. That's one thing that probably goes against it: The Witcher fiction was really well done whereas cyberpunk is usually the same tropes trotted out.
Yeah I mean with all the delays and whatnot I stopped feeling too hyped for it a while back but there's nothing I'm seeing to out me off buying. I imagine the worst reviews were expecting more, the best are probably still high on the hype and I imagine the truth is probably it's a 7 or 8/10 game. We'll see though, if the writing / characters / setting are good that'll go a long way for me.
Shindig
08-12-2020, 12:53 PM
There's other little things as well. Like, they've given prominence to a Trans character but some LGBT guys are pissed that the game offers you binary genders. :D
Jacking into cyberspace gives you a cutscene that replicates an EEG strobe. To the point where it's potentially seizure inducing.
It does seem odd to me that they've not allowed the pronoun options as well given gender isn't set based on the body you choose. I'd be surprised if that isn't patched in at some point.
The epilepsy thing is mental though, dunno how that's made it through.

I'm on a base PS4. It's been great (albeit with a few crashes). Slow to start opening up and very much RPG rather than shooter. The world is fantastic, as are most of the characters I've met so far. Braindances are a cool mechanic.
What are people playing as? I've gone with a Corpo chick, emphasis on stealth/hacking/tech weapons, although starting out with a couple of QOL upgrades for extra health.
I'm not very far in yet because I was being very nosey during the all the tutorial bits. Playing nomad lady, looking go to stealth/hacky.
Most importantly I have a nice trilby / jacket combo.
I've barely had any technical issues. One quest wouldn't complete so I had to do a restart but other than some very minor graphical and audio bugs three or four times it's been fine and no crashes.

My analysis of this so far is that it's nothing groundbreaking but I am really enjoying it because it's very much my sort of thing. Nice options for approaching missions and combat, the braindances are fun for investigation (albeit based on the first one seem rather Arkham-y and fall well short of the standard for this sort of thing which has now been set by Obra Dinn), good characters, well written and Night City is great from what I've seen so far.

A cursor for the menus on a console game? Abysmal idea.
The first couple of hours are poor and the game does a piss poor job of introducing you to the city.
It's got better since then and has had some moments where I've felt genuinely immersed, so I'm still hopeful it'll be a cracking game.

I disagree on the opening. Certainly for the nomad I liked it. Night City starting way off in the distance, you go through the corpo bureaucracy shit and then get a lovely night-drive through the city before that montage. I'm surprised, but not unhappy, that they didn't drag that out a bit longer to be honest. And having the City be something I learn more about as I go is good for me. Show, don't tell.

This is how I feel about a lot of the use of tech terminology/slang - rather than spoon-feed it to me I have to follow it and learn as I go. The world exists without me and I'm not the superhero that everything revolves around, which feels great.
Also, this feels far more RPG than Fallout 4, say - already I feel like I've branched off in multiple ways from due to the decisions I've made and I've frequently come into situations where either my life path or the skills I've picked have made a difference on how I've got through a section and what options are available to me.
One example on the above: I went to meet some guy (fat South African (?) thug who runs some kinda sex emporium) and I initially got into a fight with him and ended up getting killed by him. I approached it differently once I'd respawned and took a different route, used my stealth/hacking skills to break into their security system and get some evidence to leverage against him. Didn't even get into a fight and he ended up nicely showing me out.

Fallout is barely an RPG these days. It's a shooter with some turn-based action and stats.
I just did the early-ish quest where you have to get the robot. I was hoping to get through it without a shootout. It did not go well.
EDIT: Actually that's not entirely true. I mean I did have the big unwanted shootout but I liked the actual outcome, so I like how the game handled it.

I've put the main quest stuff on the back burner for the moment and set about earning some cash. Seems like the easiest way to do this is to go on the map and go to the little blue "police incident" things. Usually just need to blast a few gang people and you'll earn a decent wedge each time. I've settled on a load out too: silenced pistol (weak but just about good enough if I sneak up and get a couple of headshots), a smart shotgun which is bonkers and then a red katana for when things go sideways

I actually agree that it doesn't look that nice. However, the screenshot you choose - I'm guessing that's intentional from the game - It's some sort of wacky billboard.
So wacky they ran out of texture memory and put the same ad on the other side of the road and then 2 of the same ad directly above it?

The lighting and the sound are what make cyberpunk. I genuinely felt ill in the club scene, too many memories.

Maybe it's the whole, my career revolves around literally making images to have the likes of DLSS applied to it that makes me not understand what you're saying here.
Are you saying that DLSS, a deep learning up scaler is doing two seperate operations on the same texture in one shot and it's not upscaling it, it's descaling it?

More pissed that I can barely play it due to a well timed bout of Uevitis fucking my eye up.
It does look nice, I agree. I've just been doing the quest earlier for Delamain with the missing cabs which has allowed me to see more different parts of the City and its an excellent place.
It's also exactly the sort of quest I loved CDPRs writers for in the Witcher games with all the cabs being different variants of fucked up rogue AI, including the frightened one and the suicidal/ daddy issues one.

I prefer bikes in this to be honest, but I suppose a freebie is a freebie.
Also Contagian is such a good quickhack.
Is the general consensus that this pretty much totally playable, then? I'm a bit put off starting it by all the reports online about it being a buggy mess on consoles. I realise people often work themselves into a fit of hysteria about the severity of these things though.

It seems to be a hell of a lot more stable on PC, PS5 and the new Xbox. Last gen consoles are basically a write off, though.
I havent had a single crash or major bug, just some graphical glitches which seem to come with most new releases.

I've been playing it solid on a basic PS4 for a few days now - it's definitely struggling but has been fine and playable. Most of the people complaining are internet bedwetters who expected the moon on a stick.

Can confirm this, from my experience. I've probably racked up 20+ hours of play already, on an admittedly mostly-new PC, but I've only had one crash and two issues that stopped me progressing stuff. One I had to just do a quickload because a quest hadn't completed when it should have, another I couldn't make it let me to speak to an NPC for a sidequest so I just had to complete it via an alternative method. Probably had a dozen or so other very minor things that caused no issues.
I'm on mostly purple (epic?) quickhacks now and they really do make dealing with hostile areas a bit of a rinse if you're trying to take folk out. If you've really leaned into the cyberware hacking stuff then just spamming a group of mooks with powered-up Contagion will do a lot of the hard work for you.
I don't think anybody I know personally is enjoying this nearly as much as I am but all the stuff I'm here for is great. Okay so probably too many of the sidequests boil down to "capitalism is bad mkay" or "them body mods will make you crazy!" but the little stories within that are still frequently very good and do a good job of building up the setting. I'd also say the average ? on the map is more interesting than they are in most games, from going on a nostalgia trip about Johnny's band because he comments on a busker you walk past to a guy begging for your help because his Mr Stud implant has started burning his bits off and you then keep hitting obstructions and roadblocks, etc. as you try and get him to a ripperdoc. So I started again, left Jackie by the hot dog stall, just started free roaming/visiting points of interest and am loving it.
Busted loads of crims and picked up loads of gear and now sat on 17,000 monies.
On the negative side some of the menu choices are painful. Sorting through the shit, trying to work out what to keep on you, what to put in your stash and what to sell when you've cleared a gang out is an absolute headache.
Yeah the UI definitely needs some work. That said I don't stash anything. I have about six weapons I rotate through, almost everything else I now break down for materials. To be honest I barely use any consumables other than health ones so it'd be nice to be able to mark stuff as junk.
Money is very, very easy to come by just through picking up gigs and stuff. I realised I was sitting on about £100k so I went to a ripperdoc and have got epic versions of mantis blades, gorilla arms and the projectile launcher thing. Haven't tried the nanowire at all yet so should get on that.

I've been loving it so far - loads of overreaction on the internet from dickheads wanting a bit of a whine. The story, VO and general vibe of it is immense. Has anyone done the mission with River Ward called The Hunt? That is up there with stuff like The Bloody Baron for me. Proper :| -face on as it unravelled...
How they spent 8 years on this and just shat the Witcher's awful inventory menus into it is definitely a pain point though
I haven't done that one yet so hopefully I find that if it's a side mission. I will say that I dunno when I last skipped this little dialogue in a game. The voice acting is all really good that I've encountered and it helps that the characters behave in believable ways while you're speaking, actually reacting and getting read to say stuff rather than standing stock still until its their turn to speak.
A guy I work with described it as having a "dead world" and I honestly can't be arsed arguing about it because I can't imagine what he's possibly looking for.
Also I had to lol when my mate said he reckoned that Keanu Reeves' stuff must've all been single takes or whatever and it didn't sound like he was very into it. I had to ask whether he's heard Reeves speak before and what exactly he was expecting.

There's a few I've spoken to about this. They called GTA and Red Dead 2's worlds as 'emergent'. In GTA all you have is OTT cop chases. Its dead as fuck.
In Red Dead you have heavily scripted incidental situations which end up repeating after you've done 15 or so. Besides this, its dead as fuck.
Give me deeply written and crafted side quests over sucking poison out of someone or blowing up a car for the thousandth time then hiding under a bridge.
Like all open world games the world itself is just a stage to what the devs have crafted, there just hasn't been one as beautiful to look at as Night City. Its fucking jaw dropping in places with RTX.

I do like the irony of console players going ballistic about it being a buggy mess when on the opposite side a lot of console ports to PC are hilariously bad. CDPR are cunts for the way they've handled the launch but its still lol.
I tried Watch Dogs Legion (shit game). On my PC with a 2080ti I get the same FPS if I run at 480p as I do at 4k. Tested it in the same spot. 45fps on both, doesn't matter what settings I touch, if it goes up to 70 at 480p, its 70 at 4k.

Yeah I mean I've played a fair few open world games (RDR2 is probably the main one I haven't played) and while Cyberpunk isn't breaking any new ground in terms of how "alive" the world is I'd say it compares favourably to any I've played. And I can't think of an obvious contender for my favourite city in a game.

I think people's expectations were blown out of all whack, something CDPR didn't help to temper. The Witcher 3 has a few nice locales, good main and side missions, NPCs that offer absolutely fuck all and a relatively dead world bar loot. This offers the same experience, just better, yet its as if people expected an all-encompassing shit hot fully insane life-like experience when at its heart its a wonderfully built, well written experience, as was W3. Its just a bit bug-ridden, as was W3 at launch.
Wild Hunt maybe had NPCs that looked a little busier but honestly even games where NPCs appear to be getting up, going to do their jobs, etc. the façade doesn't stand up to more than about 20 seconds scrutiny. As long as they're not doing anything obviously stupid and have a basic appearance of being busy for the 3 seconds when I zoom past them then I really don't care.
The things it gets right are the exact same things Witcher 3 gets right. As you say, the characters and writing (both on a main story level from what I've seen and the side quests, even brief ones) are excellent both for building up those little stories and the world at large.

Yeah there was one minor side thing I did last night that blew me away (spoilers):
The TV host who's son had been kidnapped and murdered. It was recorded by the gang, and I had to infiltrate and take back the raw, unedited video of his murder from the two guys who had edited it. Started off as a typical base invasion thing, scattered with tidbits of info and conversation that built it as a whole and then to confront them only to realise that they gave no fucks, what they viewed and cut (paedophilia, bestiality, murder) and their complete apathy towards it gave me such a visceral reaction. I shot the father mid-conversation and saw the son display emotion I didn't think he held within him. I then shot the son. And it actually felt justified rather than just shooting for the sake of it.
Had some actual heft to it, and it was a tiny little bit of the game. Gave me a reaction akin to that famous scene in Spec Ops: The Line.
I read the first sentence and haven't done that yet so I'll try and remember to come back to that later.

Yeah its 100% a power play from Sony. If CDPR hadn't pulled the refund angle it'd still be up.
Back to the game, another interesting sidequest last night. It starts off with a job from Wakako who wants you to meet a fella who wants to be present when you carry out a hit for him...
And it's a guy whose wife was killed by a person who was convicted for it but got out of his death sentence. The guy who's hired you ends up getting shot but it turns out the murderer is claiming to have had some spiritual enlightenment while on Death Row and he's going to seek atonement by being executed and I think wants it turned into a braindance so other people can experience it and find their own enlightenment or some such. So you've got this thing going on where you're asking if this guy is legit and if so should you be talking him into or out of what he's doing and if not, what IS he up to? While also having the TV producer who just wants you to fuck off and not interfere with this lucrative thing they're going to do. That specific quest ended unresolved but I assume it's going to crop up again once some time has passed.
Yeah its 100% a power play from Sony. If CDPR hadn't pulled the refund angle it'd still be up.

GTA also has a much bigger development team and they've been supporting it for 7 years. I dare say it was in active development longer than Cyberpunk. Rockstar know how to do this and you can really appreciate how they build their games.
Not posted much in here but I'm still very much enjoying this. Into act 3 now so I'm going to be taking the main story even slower and getting the side stuff mopped up.
I'm pretty OP now at everything other than the hardest fistfights, I'm gonna need to buff my punchy skills a bit before I take on the end of the boxing sidequest chain.
I'm also still barely fast-travelling which, this many hours into a game of this length, says a lot for how much I like just moving around Night City despite the iffy driving. Though even that I've kinda of adjusted to now.
Raoul Duke
29-12-2020, 11:12 AM
Yeah pretty much the same here. There's not a lot of side quests outstanding now, aside from the shit I can't be bothered to do like driving (fuck I hate forced racing segments in these kinds of games) and the fighting ones. Although saying that, I haven't kicked on with Takemura hardly at all so might focus a bit on that for the moment.
I think I see how the main story is coming together too, and so far it's played out really well. Enjoying it a lot overall.
I normally hate forced racing bits but those were a piece of piss and the final / race quest comes to a good conclusion.
I'm not mopping up all the blue NCPD markers unless I'm right there or if it happens to be in my way and just Contagion-ing my way through is quicker than walking around but I'm grabbing all the ?s and yellow markers because as we've touched on previously there's some nicely written mini-stories in there.
One misstep was when I went to meet a mysterious quest-giver and when they turned around V went "It's you!" and I had no idea who the fuck it was. I get that they're a prominent in-setting character but they really ought to have made sure I couldn't avoid being aware of them.

Yeah, can't imagine it'll be a big B&W style thing first, probably just some cosmetics. Would be great if there's some bigger general quality-of-life improvements as well as just some new trinkets. Still feel like the performance isn't where it should be for base consoles.
I expect there'll be some toys and maybe a few linked side quests but yeah, if they release that stuff before they've fixed a good chunk of the broken shit that'd be a bit of a kick in the teeth for those affected even if it's not monetised stuff.
Well I've hit the point of no return in the main story which has caught me off guard. I'd say I'm surprised (at how they've weighted main story to side stories) rather than disappointed. I mean I've put dozens of hours into this and the big sidequest chains feel substantial and important enough to V that they probably could have been tied into the main story chains so there's still lots of story / character stuff there for those who want it, it's just not mandatory.
Regardless I'll be clearing out the side stuff (not the blue NCPD icons) before I move onto finishing the main story.
Raoul Duke
31-12-2020, 12:04 PM
The NCPD things are a bit shit but you can get some great loot from them. Worth knocking them off. They're mostly just against low-level gimps so you can smash through them easily and ransack the rewards.
If I needed money or gear (other than as cosmetics) I'd be doing them but I don't so I just leave them be unless I'm right there, in which case I let Contagion do all the work. Although the legendary version of the silenced sniper rifle is also, obviously, stupidly powerful. The ?s and Fixer sidequests will do me fine.
Raoul Duke
31-12-2020, 12:24 PM
Oh yeah - the sniper rifle is dumb. It can just shoot through anything? Ridiculous and overpowered. It doesn't even have some Perfect Dark-esque laser firing mechanism
I mean guns are very much a thing I do when I fancy a change from taking down gangs with my mind, obviously. Especially given the cybermod where the only way shooting people kills them is if you shoot them after they've been downed the first time. Because cyber tech magic makes sure that a double barrelled shotgun to the face is a NON LETHAL takedown.

GTA V is 7 years old??
That is bad. However, was cyberpunk supposed to compete?
Reminds how mega GTA V was/is.
I've watched about a third of that video and there's no individual thing that would be close to appearing on a list of things that make a game better or worse. Overall polish, absolutely. CDPR clearly a) should have delayed again (or just not committed to a release date when the game was so clearly far from having everything fixed) and b) just don't have the experience for this sort of game which is why you see GTAV (a game that is very good but much less to my taste than janky ol' Cyberpunk is) doing all that stuff and having some of the detail in physics, etc. which CP2077 does not.
Anyway, I have now finished it. Dunno if anybody else has other than presumably Dark Soldier ?
I thought it was well done. I thought it was gonna end up being really lengthy shooty / stealth bits but it's really not, it remains dedicated to its characters and story until the finish which I admire a lot, and it seems like the choices are meaningful.
I got Panam / the Aldecaldos to help me and then kept V in her body (I wondered if Johnny would have a change of heart but he didn't and for all that Reeves is the most boring voice actor in the game I thought he did a good job at the end, or at least Silverhand is well written in act 3) and I'd romanced Judy so she came with me and the nomads and it was a genuinely really nice ending. Loved that final drive giving you some big sweeping views of Night City as ell.
I was also well levelled so I was able to fuck up Adam Smasher pretty handily. Made sure to get up close and personal to finish him with the mantis blades too.
All in all a very janky game that I'm looking forward to playing again once it's been polished up a bit better and I'm not sure currently where it sits on my all-time list but I'd say it's objectively a 7 or 8 out of 10 game that sits higher for me because the CDPR writing I loved from the Witcher games is all there. And I'd be well up for a future sequel once this one's run its course.
Shindig

Even when CDPR has a game down as finished, they don't feel that polished. I had to redo the Bloody Baron fist fight in Witcher 3 because the game made him invulnerable. And there's a weird blur effect going on when the game transitions into certain cutscenes.
I had a weird bug along those lines, I forget the specifics of which, during my second Witcher 3 run which was odd because I'd had nowt like it the first time.

Haven't finished it yet - been working on clearing my backlog so not played it much of late. Loving it though.

I have been back into this since the patch and despite there being a few bugs still I have been enjoying it. I did a bit of romancing, few side quests and moved the main plot on significantly and have to say I really like the game, despite the valid complaints. The only major criticism for me is the fact the cars handle like absolute shite.

I've been chipping away at it too. I'm at what I believe is the point-of-no-return mission so am just clearing off icons before I get it done.
Driving, the mini-map and the shit inventory systems are the worst things about it, bugs aside. There should be a way to avoid having to do the hacking mini-puzzle once you're sufficiently levelled up too, it's very tedious.
The story is great though and there's some really awesome characters. It definitely feels like a Cyberpunk dystopia, but overall it's more of a 7/10 game as a lot of the gameplay mechanics get in the way rather than improve things.

CDPR hacked (https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/lfxvpn/cd_projekt_red_has_been_hacked_hackers_seems_to/) and looks like some n'er do well might have the source code to 2077/Witcher etc. Fun times
It's really been a good couple of years for CDPR.

It's when they complain the .txt file (C'mon, any hacker group's got to put that ASCII image somewhere) about the 'half-finished and half-covered mess of problems' that gets me. That's how the sausage is made, lads.
Your have been EPICALLY pwned!!

Patch notes for the long-awaited 1.2 update: https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/37801/patch-1-2-list-of-changes - lots of stuff, not sure it'll fully address a lot of what people complained about

Why is that screen tearing? Are they still on a crusade to give everyone who plays their game a seizure?
I've decided to take the plunge to buy it. Should be arriving in the next few days.
What platform you on?
I've no idea how much jank is still left on consoles after the big patches.
No idea if anybody else in here ever finished it but I liked it a lot (on PC where the jank was less severe.)
Xbox One so could still be a massive struggle.
Somebody can correct me but I think a) PS5 had it the worst and b) the PS4 and XBone weren't as bad as the next gen broadly speaking.
So you might be okay.

Older consoles got the worst of it. I have been running it ok on a PS4 with an SSD though, especially post the latest main patch. I took a break for a while but am close to finishing it up.
No idea if anybody is interested in this for PC and waiting for it to go below a certain price but it's currently £25 on GOG:

I would hold fire. Game just isn't that good and their long-term roadmap doesn't seem like they're gonna do a No Man's Sky anytime soon
I enjoyed it but I might have been after something different to most (I don't care that the combat becomes a bit of a rinse, for example) and even by the slightly better standards of the PC version I seemed to get very little jank.

I was going to say I've held off until the PS5 update becomes available at the very least to see what's what.
I bet there's a great game there, but given the way things have gone, they might need a patch or two after that as well. I do wonder if CD:PR could speak openly and honestly, how much longer they would actually have needed to get the game out to avoid the disaster it had.
I always hate seeing companies cave in and shove it out for the Christmas period, hoping to fix it later.

They should have sacked off the last gen consoles and waited to release it on the PS5/Series X

From what I've played of it I'm minded of the opposite of when the BBFC tried to cut Texas Chainsaw Massacre to make it pass with an 18 certificate. No matter what they did the nature of the piece was so unrelentingly grim that they couldn't get it in what they deemed a fit state for release.

Next Gen patch supposedly coming soon: link (https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2022-02-14-cyberpunk-2077-stream-on-tuesday-may-reveal-new-versions) - stream at 3pm UK time. Don't expect much but would be nice to see some decent progress rather than just some new hats and shiny graphics

Can you have more than one shitty apartment yet and is the weapons menu not a complete clusterfuck and are the perks still rubbish (e.g. 1% increase in damage)?
CDPR are always crap at 'perks' if this and the Witcher games are anything to go by but then in this you've got cybernetics so I can't say I cared that the level-ups themselves weren't that exciting.
Not that I really did in the Witcher games either, to be fair.

I only just got in and tuned in and it seems they've given you 4 new places to rent.

I missed the start but there are new apartments to buy. Can edit your appearance mid-game. There's some improved pedestrian logic when there's gunfire etc. New guns and throwing knives. Obviously a load of next gen graphics updates
I wonder if they think it's anywhere near a state yet where they can start talking about proper DLC.

They kept saying the phrase "DLC" but it definitely isn't that. This is probably the state it should have launched in.
There's also a free 5-hour demo you can download of the next gen version. Lol, £35 for the full game
I've started playing this recently, the PS5 version. I bought it at release but it's just been sat there. Admittedly I never touched it on the PS4, the bad press put me off, so I don't know how broken it was, but it seems fine (so far) on the PS5.
My initial thoughts are that the world is fantastic. The whole setting is very much up my alley and it feels very, I don't know, "lived in". I'm liking it. The gunplay is very solid too. I'm hacking and stealthing a little bit but then just dropping people with the shotgun when it all kicks off and then quickly carving them up with the sword when they're down. It's a lot of fun.
I've dumped most of my points into "body" so far. I went in on the hardest difficulty so it's helping with the survivability a bit.
I am absolutely ready for more Night City once they're done fixing it all for all the non-me people who is was broken as fuck for and get some DLC out.
I finished the prologue (if you want to call it that, basically the first five to six hours of the game) and thought it was ace, very cinematic and cool setup for the story.
BUT:
Jackie Welles dies! What the fuck? :(
