I've always thought that this was especially wank, even in the realms of self-promoting charity wank. We would all like to have a kick about at Old Trafford with Eric Cantona if the opportunity arose in other circumstances, so the celebrities (genuine names like Usain Bolt excepted to an extent) are actually doing less than nothing.

Just do a mixed game with men and women on the same team. Has that even caught on yet? I cant be the only person ever to have mentioned this. Surely those women freedom fighters are going crazy right now as there are no females involved.

You could current women's internationals on the pitch with this crew of flumps and they wouldn't stand out. There are sports in which mixed games are viable, football just isn't one of them.
