If we're topping our group, like shit Poland are beating us. Relative to the [inexplicable] hype that they always get going into these things, they are the worst tournament team of my lifetime. Their best result in all that time is beating a 2002 American team consisting of Brian McBride and fast food characters, and that was in spite of their hotshot blackman frauded into the set-up during the opening ceremony.

Tunisia are terrible but they're also really niggly and dirty, so could 0-0 us off the park.

Only African team worth a shit is Senegal, who will win their group with ease (unless Colombia are a semi team, which they aren't) and then fuck it against the first good team they play.

All the Asian teams seem to be epically terrible these days. There are a few Euro/South American ones I know nothing about, though, and the draw is quite good, so it could be a decent show.

Like the first 2 pictures I've got it coming down to Brazil Vs Germany in the final, but I've gone with Brazil to get revenge and win it. Similar Quarter Final line up to Baz but with France being there over Iceland and England over Colombia.

Someone in my work is running one of these but instead of just predicting who gets out of the group and who wins each tie, you predict all the scores and win points for the correct sore even if you have completely different teams in the knockout rounds. They did it for the Euros. It's a bit mental. I'd rather they just did something like this tbh. Or you just pick the scores at each round when you know who's playing who.

Anyway, here's mine. I'm not sure it makes sense, doesn't really feel like Germany are currently good enough to reach the Final and I'd think France would make it further, with the team they currently have, but.

I can definitely see one of Morocco/Iran beating out Portugal to 2nd spot (I've gone for Morocco) and group C being a total shitfest which sees Peru defeating France and Denmark claiming an undeserved 1st place.

Been going over Peru, and I've never seen anything quite like them suddenly figuring out how to play football outside of Lima last year.

The first win against Bolivia wasn't even a win, they lost 2-0 and got awarded it because Bolivia fielded an ineligible player.

More than anything it just highlights how utterly guff Argentina are.
