Payet going off injured basically ends it. Oh well.

Godin asks Thauvin if he needs medical assistance, Thauvin says no, and yet Godin still signals the medics to come in. That's pure Atletico 101. :D

Atletico versus Marseille. Good game so far.
Holy moly it's on YouTube too, and in 4K UHD.
Presumably the same applies for the CL final too, which is awesome. I don't have to use Acestream next Saturday and be 3 minutes behind Mike's proper BT sport.

That Griezmann is a bit good isn't he.

Marseille look utterly lost without Payet.
United should get Simeone in. He does a better job at stinking the place out than Mourinho does these days.

They're not even stinking the place out tonight. 2-0 up and they look far more threatening than Marseille.

Marseille are absolute shite though.

Yeah but Mourinho's team would be parking the bus even against that Marseille, no?

Atletico look a far better team with both Costa and Griezmann in the same side.

Nah, they'd control the game without doing anything particularly threatening and scab their way to a comfortable win like they did against Ajax.

Ye, I guess parking the bus was an exaggeration.
On another note, there's quite a few yellow cards that haven't been shown to Marseille players.

Yeah what I was thinking of. At least these boys look relatively drilled and know what they're doing.

Ligue 1 is park football.
If you want defensively drilled, Allegri is your man.

Marseille haven't been that bad tbh, deserve to have scored. They've got a few tidy players on them.
That must be amongst the worst shots ever hit from NJie there.

Does French football still have every team playing an African 4-5-1 with a single designated flair player?
That shot from NJie must have landed on and crushed Ocampos' cat, the way he's openly weeping on the pitch.
Athletico have really gone balls deep in the "dive if there's any contact at all" mantra haven't they.
Commentators seemed to be on board with it too which is a bit mental.
Marseille didn't look at all like winning that though. Shame Salzburg didn't win, they'd have at least peaked a bit of interest.
The griezman goal was class though.
He scored two.
I reckon maybe three of the Marseille players kept their medals on for more than one step away from the bloke giving them out. Most had taken them off before even turning to walk away.
Only saw the second, was it anywhere near as good as the first?

Nice touch to let Torres lift the trophy too.

They legitimately looked like they were a man down in the majority of the 2nd half.

Half our ground is being rebuilt so the first leg of the playoff semifinal is being graced by a portacabin full of builders right behind one of the goals. Love it.

On some of the replays here you can almost peer through the front windows of the neighbours. Proper football.

From the right angle you can bits of my garden. This is great, although it is just setting up the inevitable Wemberlee bottle job.
That would be considerably more bonkers than it just being a load of nugget fans. Their three best players almost certainly won't play for them again off the back of it.
So today there was a video showing the car that took the thugs away from the beating. Nice car. It was up for sale for€57k on some site. The owner of the car has a picture with the owner of sporting.

Parma are back in Serie A. Relegated to Serie D in 2015. Back to back promotions since the decline. Return to Serie A on the head to head rule.

Fiorentina did that once.
