I bought a £10 cd player from facebook marketplace this week - proper early 90s technics classic, which I have hooked up to my actually-not-that-shit-considering Chinese Amazon active speakers (Edifier 1800BTs ftr). My wife bought me an big tall old school Italian pepper grinder a few years ago that does the business, still get the pestle and mortar out occasionally for loads at once. I'm not against using pre ground pepper if its for big cuts in the BBQ, you get the even coverage without the same harshness of freshly ground.

For salt I just use table salt, kosher salt and Maldons depending on applications no need for a grinder really.

28mm is pretty standard I think. I use a Texas Deadlift bar which is 27mm.

I’d only really go if it was Haydock (or possibly Aintree) so would probably get first dibs on them.
