4G Turf Studs

Playing football tonight, on a 4G pitch and wearing boots with studs like these:

This guy starts proper moaning at me for wearing studs, saying it's not allowed and all this shit, and a few of their team were like 'yeah it's not on, that'

What the fuck are they talking about? I've been wearing those boots there for 3 years and nobody has mentioned a thing.

Turns out though that I was actually the only person playing not wearing astros.

Can someone clarify thay there's fuck all wrong with those boots on a 4G pitch?

soz i've started playing IRL footy for the first time in about 10 years and i suddenly think i'm an expert. i was wearing what turned out to be fucking indoor football boots which i found in a charity shop until about 4 weeks so yeah fair enough.

They're moulded studs for 4g. Astro turf boots are for deviants and children.

I use both AG and FG studs on 3G/4G/??SupermotoG depending how soft the turf is. You can’t really play with astros on good 4G as you’ll slip too easily.
