Feels like it’s been ages. Saturday should be a good day.

Come on Rafa lad.

Jimmy Floyd

Worst possible time for West Brom away, ours are all jelly-legged from international break whereas Tony's have had two solid weeks of being sergeant-majored into five-four-fucking-one on the training ground.

Shindig

Any result from Old Trafford will be treated with quiet applause. Front runner for our sale's been done for fraud so... y'know ...

Where do you get your Newcastle information from, Shinners?

Our game will be shit but we have a good record against Mourinho. I hope Rafa embarrasses the porko twat.

Paulp Ogba *and* 'Zlatan' might be back, so the title race starts/ends NOW.

Yep same here. Our season is over here too so there's fuck all else except this soulless shit.

Brighton vs Stoke on Monday has me feeling like this, too.

Top of the league if so, if only for a day.

The takeover chatter? It briefly appeared on nufc.com a week ago before vanishing. That Staveley lass being fingered as a wrong'n. It vanished though so it's probably fake news. Like the idea of Mike selling in the first place.

Dortmund have gone one down in Stuttgart after an absolute howler from Burki. Just put Sancho in goal ffs.

Stuttgart are wearing an all black effort (sponsors, logos and all), and it's one of the sexiest kits I've ever seen.

Why the fuck would you leave Wales to take over the shitshow that is Sunderland? Surely he's done enough to land a bit higher?

Maybe he misses the club game? Could he take Wales much further?

Can anyone take Sunderland anywhere?

ScousePig

Alternatively, if you fail at Sunderland maybe it doesn't affect your reputation too much, because it's Sunderland.

If they removed it then I imagine it's nonsense. Anybody getting carried away about a takeover before it's made official is an idiot, though. It's like picking up The Sunday Sport and getting excited about City signing Messi.

We might actually start playing football again! Great to have an alternative to lukaku in the middle as well.

Jose will probably end up playing both with fellaini just behind.

Should be a decent game, this. Arsenal’s front three are potentially brilliant but Spurs are strong all over.

If Dembele takes a game, he’ll win it for them.

This feels like if Tottenham win then Arsene Wenger has questions to answer, and it's too early in the season for that (he doesn't need the stress over Christmas), so Arsenal will win 2-1.

Sir Andy Mahowry
18-11-2017, 12:42 PM
Arsenal will fold, 3-0 to the Yids who will give nothing away.

St Mirren leading a bunch of lollipop men 7-0 at half time.

Reg

Maybe I'm forgetting something obvious but that's probably the worst I've seen Spurs play under Pochettino. Nothing against direct passes but those slow, high punts were hopeless.

Arsenal were really good first half, though. Such a strange club.

18-11-2017, 07:10 PM
I genuinely cannot believe how good Salah has been. If we could defend and keep the front four fit we could be on to something.

Reg
18-11-2017, 07:21 PM
I made a mug of myself regarding Salah, wasn't sure if he'd be good enough. I didn't see much of him last season but during the previous one he looked only like a slightly better Depay.

Just watched the Rome derby from yesterday. Not a great game - typical derby scrap - but the first time I'd seen the VAR in action. There was about ninety seconds between the ball going out of play and the decision being made, which I didn't think was too long.

Perotti takes the casual penalty thing to another level.

Jimmy Floyd
19-11-2017, 05:28 PM
Surely there has to come a point when people realise that Joe Hart just isn't a top flight keeper anymore, let alone international. Usually, as with Rooney, these things take about 5 years to process in people's minds.

Great to hear “sack the board” coming out of the away end. Throwback.

Jimmy Floyd
19-11-2017, 05:54 PM
As shit as the dildo brothers are, the fact that their fan boards are all crying out for an imaginary Chinese consortium to buy it up and spend £500 million on famous players sums up how stupid most fans are - though West Ham fans are more stupid than most.

ScousePig

Great to hear “sack the board” coming out of the away end. Throwback.

You should pop along to Sunderland sometime for a bit of nostalgia.

Chris Coleman confirmed earlier today. I've never been a big fan but considering our situation we couldn't have got someone with a much higher profile. The buzz-words seem to be 'charisma' and 'personality', which could be just what we need, and the media are portrating it as something of a coup. Also, the Welsh seem pretty gutted he's gone.

Reg

90 seconds.
It felt fine. If it happens once a game on average I think it's well worth doing. Injuries can easily take similar amounts of time and it was a lot more interesting than an injury break because of the anticipation of the Lazio's penalty being given.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has avoided the prospect of a jail sentence in the United States by agreeing to pay compensation to the Beverly Hills police.

Lukaku, 24, was arrested in July after police responded to five noise complaints at the house he was renting.

The Belgian will pay $450 (£340) to reimburse police for the callouts.

Does this work for murder too?
