Scott McTominay starts, which means Ander Herrera is carb-loading (speaking of which, Big Fat Luke Shaw is on the bench) to follow somebody around all Sunday afternoon.

Reg

Darmian and Blind the full backs, let's get ready for some thrilling Manchester United wing play!

Mourinho has had another dig at the fans in his programme notes. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/oct/31/jose-mourinho-programme-notes-suggest-tension-manager-manchester-united-fans

Why does he go looking for fights?

Lewis
31-10-2017, 07:36 PM
Where have you been? MIND GAMES.

Baz
31-10-2017, 07:45 PM
Why are Red Star Belgrade not called Red Star Belgrade?

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 07:47 PM
lol.

Magic
31-10-2017, 07:58 PM
Love Serie A at the moment. Great.

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 08:00 PM
What a shit penalty.

Lewis
31-10-2017, 08:03 PM
It always look extra bollocks when those sort of penalties get saved. I bet Eric Bailly takes an amazing penalty. Like that Kevin Pressman one, but somehow executed with less than absolutely no technique.

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 08:23 PM
Why was Perotti trying to squeeze THE EGYPTIAN WIZARD'S arse in the celebration there? It looked like he was trying to dig out some nuggets.

Magic
31-10-2017, 08:24 PM
I like how El Sharrawy hasn't disappeared in to the middle eastern log pile and is actually still decent.

CJay
31-10-2017, 08:24 PM
Yeah I saw clocked that as well. :cab: It was a proper going over. :D

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 08:26 PM
Atletico :D

Lewis
31-10-2017, 08:30 PM
That 'keeper is cursed.

SvN
31-10-2017, 08:34 PM
Great goalscoring ratio for a keeper. That's what, 2 in 5?

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 08:36 PM

I guess that's one way of coming out.

Atletico :D

Amazing.

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 08:58 PM
That's some hit.

Feel bad for the Qarabag massive but they've missed so many good chances.

Raoul Duke
31-10-2017, 09:02 PM
Is Michael Carrick still alive? He played twenty-odd games last year and then this year he's disappeared

Magic
31-10-2017, 09:04 PM
Are Sunderland really not going to beat Bolton? :harold:

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 09:06 PM
Chelsea are getting fisted, almost as much as Perotti on El Shaarawy.

Magic
31-10-2017, 09:08 PM
Gonte. :)

Lewis
31-10-2017, 09:11 PM
This United defence (or rather defending) is pretty great. I get the feeling that you could stick me and Mahow in the centre of it and the STRUCTURE (the negative of SYSTEM) would see us right, so if he buys a top, top centre-back/left-back in the summer then get ready for sixty 1-0 hummers and a treble.

Magic
31-10-2017, 09:11 PM
The Chelsea defence. :D

Magic
31-10-2017, 09:11 PM
Lol at those two posts.

Magic
31-10-2017, 09:14 PM
Drinkwater?!! Wat. Please tell me it was 40m+

Reg
31-10-2017, 09:15 PM
Are Chelsea just useless without Kanté?

Raoul Duke
31-10-2017, 09:18 PM

Drinkwater?!! Wat. Please tell me it was 40m+

Ł35m wasn't it. Hilarious stuff.

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 09:21 PM
Look at them getting destroyed by Rashford.

They had no idea how to defend him there.

Magic
31-10-2017, 09:21 PM
I can't believe I didn't know. LOL.

Raoul Duke
31-10-2017, 09:23 PM
Why not give Lukaku the penalty? Anyone could have blasted it down the middle.

Lewis
31-10-2017, 09:23 PM
Fat Luke: The Resurrection

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 09:24 PM
Hattrick for Kurzawa, the PSG left back.

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-10-2017, 09:37 PM
It's amazing how well Mourinho has gotten into Griezmann's head.

Magic
31-10-2017, 10:06 PM
Grayson gone. :(

ScousePig
31-10-2017, 10:18 PM
What an absolutely shambolic tenure.

ScousePig
31-10-2017, 10:19 PM
But less about my relationship.

Jimmy Floyd
01-11-2017, 12:52 AM
lol at Team Gypo letting us off the hook.

Shindig
01-11-2017, 06:48 AM
I wonder who's next for Sunderland? I doubt Allardyce could be tempted back with Everton interested.

ScousePig
01-11-2017, 07:11 AM
The timing suggests someone may be lined up, so perhaps someone from within or with strong connections to the club.

Failing that, Karanka?

Shindig
01-11-2017, 08:03 AM
Yeah, I was thinking that. Hopefully that's the case.

Weaver
01-11-2017, 08:15 AM
Peter Reid is the favourite this morning, with Kevin Phillips and Aitor Karanka 6/1.

Jimmy Floyd
01-11-2017, 08:45 AM
Christ, I didn't realise Atletico were on 3 points from 4 games. Smell you later, Simeone.

Benfica losing 4 from 4 in that group is a genuine disgrace on their part.

phonics
01-11-2017, 08:53 AM
Their goalkeeper has scored twice as many goals for United as they have in the entire group stage.

Waffdon
01-11-2017, 09:31 AM
I for one am shocked a team with Fabregas in a two man midfield and Cahill got fisted.

Jimmy Floyd
01-11-2017, 09:33 AM
The Cesc in two man midfield thing really has to stop, I'd even advocate putting a kid in there if Kanté still isn't fit.

Cahill is a ridiculous scapegoat though. He's perfectly fine.

Max Power
01-11-2017, 11:04 AM
Shocked that a team would massively decline without Kante in the team. Really shocked. Never seen that before. Nope.

Giggles
01-11-2017, 08:04 PM
If this Preston team is being tipped for promotion then the Championship is absolutely shite.

phonics
01-11-2017, 08:32 PM
This City Napoli game is awful. Both teams look like they're playing in sludge.

John Arne
01-11-2017, 08:50 PM
Can, Henderson and Milner in midfield, at home, to Maribor. Do we not have any more industrious midfielders that we could pick?

Sir Andy Mahowry
01-11-2017, 08:55 PM
Handanovic's cousin donning Milner

Which of Kane and Alli is going to have the most disappointing World Cup? Alli looks like he wants to be in the sort of form to do it properly.

Yevrah
01-11-2017, 09:12 PM
Spurs. :eyemouth:

mugbull
01-11-2017, 09:22 PM
Odds this ends 3-3?

Bernanke
01-11-2017, 09:26 PM
What the hell is wrong with Dortmund at the moment.

John Arne
01-11-2017, 09:28 PM
It's completely fucking stupid (unacceptable) that we still can't take a decent corner - we clearly are not practising them at all.

Baz
01-11-2017, 09:47 PM
Grayson gone. :(Sunderland have only been in the lead at the Stadium Of Light for a total of three minutes in the whole of 2017. :roflol:

Magic

Sunderland have only been in the lead at the Stadium Of Light for a total of three minutes in the whole of 2017. :roflol:

Was that the previous game? Surely Larry must be a cult hero now?

Shindig
01-11-2017, 10:43 PM

Alli. Kane can always blame the service.

Jimmy Floyd

Chelsea have been shit at corners for at least 15 years. Probably since Zola left. In fact I don't think many top, top teams are good at set pieces nowadays.

Lewis
01-11-2017, 11:03 PM
The Golden Age of Chelsea corners was Fernando Torres being in the team to defend them.

ItalAussie
01-11-2017, 11:27 PM
That's a great result for Spurs. I really hope Madrid don't win the thing again.

I looked up Sadick Adams and found, from today, the best match summary of all time: https://www.graphic.com.gh/sports/sports-news/sadick-adams-a-day-of-glory.html

Jimmy Floyd

Love that. Who needs a word count.

Kermit Erasmus from Russia? :D

Jimmy Floyd
02-11-2017, 08:33 AM
Republic of South Africa.

Magic
02-11-2017, 08:35 AM
Of course.

Jimmy Floyd
02-11-2017, 08:52 AM
Full survey of Africans on the list:

Sadick Adams: been back in Africa since 2010
Macauley Chrisantus: in the lower reaches of the Greek top flight
Kermit Erasmus: benchwarming at Rennes
Nour Hadhria: I can only find French-language sources on him, apparently never left Tunisia and now at mid-table outfit CA Bizertin
Rabiu Ibrahim: had a brief spell in Scotland, now in Slovakia
Sapol Mani: 13 caps for Togo, now strutting his stuff for Dacia Chisinau in the Moldovan league
Ransford Osei: never made it any further than Maccabi Haifa, now remarkably playing for Santa Claus in the Finnish third tier
Daniel Opare: had some time in Belgium although has now dropped off the radar in Germany
Abdou Razack Traoré: probably the best career of the bunch, 38 caps for Burkina Faso and a journeyman Turkish career

That really isn't a great hit rate.

Lewis
10-11-2017, 05:22 PM
Can't he go to some outlaw league and stay fit for the World Cup?
