Sarah, being conniving and that, probably reached a golden middle ground between putting out chairs and being project manager.

Interviews

Where's that clip where Claude destroys some piece of shit in the space of a minute?

Sir Andy Mahowry

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_9IlYOgSLQ

It's genuinely brilliant.

Sir Andy Mahowry

Elizabeth having bad online reviews and disagreeing with them? I'm shocked.

Byron
13-12-2017, 09:15 PM
I was kind of hoping Claude was going to read out some of our comments.

Browning

Claudine

Forgot how great she is.

Sir Andy Mahowry
13-12-2017, 09:16 PM
Claudine really is the worst interviewer.

If a woman just starts talking about 'doing it for my kids' she'll instantly be on their side.

Byron
13-12-2017, 09:17 PM
Oh shit  having to rely on the bow to sell your project,

wullie

I've never seen that clip before, it's fantastic. 'Pictures of sailboats'

I think Michaela's my favourite now.

Sir Andy Mahowry
13-12-2017, 09:21 PM
Michaela bossed it there.

Byron
13-12-2017, 09:22 PM
Oh God. That was beautiful.

'You've got no product'

Browning
13-12-2017, 09:22 PM
James is getting destroyed.

Sir Andy Mahowry
13-12-2017, 09:23 PM
Surprised she hasn't been reduced to a puddle of tears yet.

Byron
13-12-2017, 09:24 PM
Oh holy shit, Elizabeth is going to get fucking wrecked.

wullie
13-12-2017, 09:24 PM
'You're a multi-florist business, what is that?'

'I have three flower shops'

Can't argue with that

Sir Andy Mahowry
13-12-2017, 09:25 PM
How is that a business?

Interflora run it ALL.

Sir Andy Mahowry
13-12-2017, 09:33 PM
There are the tears.

She probably saved them for the right interviewer too.

Browning
13-12-2017, 09:52 PM
OK, I'm all in on Michaela now. Sarah is a twat and James is just shit.

Browning
13-12-2017, 09:58 PM
For fuck sake.

Sir Andy Mahowry
13-12-2017, 09:58 PM
What a shit decision.

Sweets (lol) or recruitment, ugh.

SvN
13-12-2017, 11:07 PM
Gobsmacked at that. I thought it was obviously Michaela that was in the final, and couldn't decide between the other two. How James has wormed his way all the way to the final, I have no idea.

ScousePig
13-12-2017, 11:10 PM
I've said Michaela and Sarah have been the strongest from the start and stand by that now, with Michaela my favourite.

Not sure how he came to that decision.

Browning
13-12-2017, 11:41 PM
I'm struggling to think of anything Sarah has done since about week 2. He's fired no end of candidates for sitting back in the past and she's done it all the way to the final, with last week being the worst case.

Even despite that she's probably still preferable to James somehow.

Should have kept Liz just to wind up Mahow.

I'm surprised they all but glossed over James falsely claiming he's a member of some official body. It's not exactly someone pretending they're registered gas safe and then killing a family but it still seems a bit too fraudy.

Ian
14-12-2017, 01:15 PM
Yeah, the general ignoring of James seeming like he's basically a bit of a dodgy fucker seems to have been conveniently ignored / cut from the show.

I think Michaela should have gone through, personally.

Sir Andy Mahowry
14-12-2017, 01:24 PM
These might be the two worst business proposals to make the final since the format was changed.

Here are their websites btw:

https://www.sweetsinthecity.co.uk/

http://www.righttimerecruitment.co.uk/

Sarah's actually works now and I've seen her sweets before but only in Hobbycraft (quite possibly the worst shop ever) right by the tills. James has also got rid of his fake accreditation.

wullie

I'm skipping the work Christmas lunch because I can't be doing with people talking IT, I'm not sure I can watch the final if half of it is about IT recruitment.

Reg

Final tonight at 9. Can't say I'd particularly like either to win unless Nick and Margaret infiltrate one of their businesses and Alan ends up rehiring them. That's unlikely to happen so here's hoping for a comedy of errors from both.

Browning
17-12-2017, 07:35 PM
Is 'Sweets in the city' just a random shit name, or is it getting the reference wrong?

Ian
17-12-2017, 08:00 PM
This season feels even more like a sham than the last two. Sara has got there by virtue of not being dreadful rather than actively been consistently good and James has got there for no reason other than Sugar obviously fancies his business plan.

Therefore James will win. Sara is the token nod towards pretending that the series itself actually matters.

Wonder what the absentees reasons for missing the final were.

Giggles

Hate the way they move this.

Ian

Wonder what the absentees reasons for missing the final were.

I don't think they ever have all of them back, do they?

Lofty
17-12-2017, 09:37 PM
Possibly not.

Michela just called Siobhán a bellend :D

Ian
17-12-2017, 10:08 PM
I think Sara's done better on balance in this but as I said before, I think James had the head start going in and he's not fucked anything up enough to change that.

I hope I'm wrong.

Giggles
17-12-2017, 10:11 PM
Well that was bullshit.

wullie
17-12-2017, 10:12 PM
Alan Sugar's turned into Oprah Winfrey here.

Ian
17-12-2017, 10:14 PM
What a load of absolute shit.

Sham of a series.

Lofty
17-12-2017, 10:17 PM
Absolute dogshit that, possibly forgivable if they had both had brilliant business ideas and perfect performances. Instead two wank ideas and standard shithousery throughout is rewarded with everyone being a winner.

Ian
17-12-2017, 10:48 PM
He's such a smug little dickbag.

Browning
18-12-2017, 12:37 AM
Yet when he had Kate and Yasmina, two of the best candidates of all time (not that that is a particularly high bar), he said he wasn't allowed to have 2 winners even though he wanted to....

An appropriately shite ending to a shite series.
