Does anyone here use it? Lately when I log in I get a 'No Content Available' message and I can't watch anything. Is it working for anyone else?

Lol. Eurosport. Isn't that just bizarre versions of football where foreigners kick square balls through fishing nets or some bollocks?

Cycling? At least when I go to NASCAR the going in circles bit is sometimes seasoned with a big crash or the sweet sound of AMERICAN MUSCLE or w/e.

Yeah that one was nasty. There's also the AG2R bloke who's bars just snapped and down he went last week.

Cycling > Nascar

Oval racing is ok, it's biggest drawback is that it tends to be on US telly which is like having pins jabbed into your ears and insta-cancer in both eyes. During this years Indy coverage someone literally shouted at an engineer "WHAT'S WITH ALL THE MATH(s)?"

Cycling > nothing. Whatever about it being a form of exercise, I cannot comprehend how it's classed a spectator sport.

Saying something > NASCAR is hardly something to brag about. That said, I don't think cycling - FUCKING cycling - qualifies anyway.

I could equally say that the hockey for retards that you like so much is rubbish. Different strokes and all that.

Yeah but that's only for one reason. Any field sport is infinitely better than long distance bike riding, running, walking, etc for a spectator. What actually ever fucking happens? It's all too slow looking on TV too.

I agree that oval racing is fine. Open wheelers are much better than Nascar, but Nascar is fine too. Where else can you cheer for Rusty, Robby, Bobby, A.J., etc? Would be better if they didn't fiddle around with the rules so much to create DRAMA.

Most of the time, nothing happens. It is more of a 'have in the background' type of sport tbh. Or just watch the last part of the race, when things are actually 'on.' It is a bit of a bore tbh, but far from the only popular boring sport (baseball anyone?)

Was at this race, too.

I went to the Daytona 500 once. One big crash but then it started raining so the race had to be cancelled. The traffic to get out was a nightmare but my father just said fuck it and just got on the opposite lane, which must have saved us at least a couple of hours. When it comes to watching live, ovals is where it's at. Circuit racing in person is quite boring tbh. The best part is going around the pits on the practice/qualifying days.

Holy shit getting out of Daytona is such a fucking nightmare after a big race. For the 500 last year they (the police who were trying to sort traffic) literally took me thru backroads 10 miles north and out of the way to get to I95. It was so bad I didn't bother going back for the July race. Took hours just to get to the interstate let alone back to Orlando.

Much prefer going to the 24 Hours if I'm honest.

Edit: I should mention that the 10 miles was literally a line of traffic and not just me cruising. It was stop and go this entire time.

Yeah I can understand watching it from that angle tbf.

Pepe

Well that was great (for a TT.) Dumoulin was the obvious favorite but fuck me, didn't expect that. Shame about Dennis, he was my 2nd favorite.

I think changing bike was the better tactic. Those switchback on the TT bike must have sucked.

The best thing on Eurosport is biathlon, the stupidest sport in the world. Regardless of how fast I long-distance ski, my race outcome depends on lying down on my front at intervals and hitting five targets at an arbitrary distance with a rifle.

It is dumb, because these people are all thick twats who want to be the centre of attention. Watch any WWE event for this in it's purest form, the crowd constantly tries to put itself front and centre they can't just watch and appreciate.

Whoever tripped on that cable needs shot.

Shame that Kristoff couldn't take it. So close. It was a good race and it seems that we missed the best part of it. Oh well.
