I've been doing this for nearly ten days now and it's slowly getting easier. Or at least more bearable. I was forced into it initially after the boiler decided to RIP but I recalled Tony Robbins writing some (at the time) nonsense about how it's one of the ways he starts his day.
Day #1 was less than thirty seconds and I'm probably exaggerating with that. I could see straight away why Robbins would add that into his daily routine because seriously, what better way to clean yourself than to be slapped by razor blades disguised as water. It was horrible!
Day #2 wasn't much better. Day #3 I was praying the boiler would be fixed but alas, it wasn't to be. On day #4 though, it hit me. Hard. The boiler was sorted and so obviously I indulged in a much longer shower than usual before finishing it off with a blast of cold. The supposed benefits of having a cold shower...some of them were actually true! I don't know if it was the placebo effect but I felt good, they inevitably woke me up but now nine days later (10th tomorrow!, I never thought I'd get double digits) I actually didn't even need the boiler to be fixed.
I hereby challenge you. We can only take things at face value as not even I am ballsy enough to YouTube that shit but let's give it a crack.
(Yes, it's a shit thread but a) it's a thread and b) it'll be interesting to hear how you found your own experience)
