I’ve made 100k from the Pirlo SBC with Milan and Inter players selling for 8.5k+ And also making 5k+ on MLS players.

Picked up IF Alessandrini for 40k too as he’s crashed with the SBC being out. If and when I upgrade from IF RF Mbappe to OTW ST Mbappe, I’ll swap him in for Lacazette and use Alessandrini at RF.

Dembele has been a beast since FUT 15 but truly donned it last year when strength was broken in the midfield. I’m not a huge fan of M/M work rates but given Mooy is working out I may give him a go at some stage if he gets an IF. He’s always performed against me.

Are you playing single or multi? Alderweirald is grand - had him for 20 odd games early on but he’s no use in multiplayer now with everyone fielding meta 1-2 or 2-1 frontlines.

The new system im playing, requires a lot from my full backs. I already have SIF kimmich who is a complete monster from RB. I'm now retiring Schmelzer who has 264 appearances for my team. Hasn't put a foot wrong. He is solid. However, given how kimmich is so much better than him. I really need to now buy alaba.

Edit: Can you pick your throw in takers? I'm tired of having my CB and ST taking throws. It appears to select the closet possible player for auto throw which is annoying. Surprisingly, I can't find the answers on google.

Got back on this this weekend after a couple of weeks break due to it being hectic at work and the game feeling like a bit of a slog.

Think I'll cruise to an Elite 3 finish in Squad Battles despite missing all of the games during the week. The lack of FIFA fatigue (having had a break helps), but I've been smashing the shit out of teams on Legendary - I'm determined to get at least 1 top 100 finish at some point during this game.

In terms of players, I've been swapping IF Goretzka and SIF Kimmich in game and the former is quite brilliant at full back. Marauds down the wings like a beast and finishes chances for breakfast (something I find natural full backs struggle with irrespective of their shooting stats). Oh and then there's TOTGS Ben Yedder, who's just mustard - 52 goals and 45 assists in 48 games.

I'll post the squads up later and where I'd like to improve it next, which I'm itching to do.

Current team I'm rocking. After a few games, alaba has two goals and two assists. Should have bought him sooner. Since my last team update, ive now dropped scary bender in favour of Guilavogui . Guilavogui stays back as a CDM much better . I checked the stats and his offensive support is on medium compared to bender which is high. Is that the way it works. In theory, the best CDM have offensive support on low? Kruse players so much better than James in CAM. I use griezmann as a sub and swap him out between the front three. IF Gnabry is so good. Small, quick and super strong. Thiago has been dropped as he just isn't strong enough for my play style in CM. Next step would be buying Boateng 100%, then maybe an IF Tolisso or Goretzka depending on how I'm feeling and the final piece of the puzzle is IF Lewa :drool: Ill get all of these man this week. Also, setting the full backs to always overlap is the best way to play for me. They provide such an outlet in this formation.

I have figured out an effective way to beat legendary now. I play a 41212(2) with the full backs on always overlap and on ultra attacking. I slow down the play in the midfield and once the LB and RB move up, I use the chipped through ball to them over the top. The first touch needs to be a long heavy touch which will always beat the AI left and right back. From there, its a free deep ball to the back-post which results in a good chance to a shot at goal. Possession in midfield is key to this.

Also up to 400 wins in UT

Surprisingly not. The AI is limited to about 7 shots or less per game now while I'm in double figures. I thought I would get spanked, but playing its very effective. I also use the d-pad and select high pressure and team pressing. It works excellent as long as you slow there ball down in midfield and wait for the wide run.

Here is an example of kimmich winning the ball in his own box, and then scoring at the other end all from RB. This happens all the time. Probably more to do with the counter attack. But still very effective. This happened 2 minutes ago.

Finally trialled NIF Alexis I pulled a while back in place of Martial today, and was duly impressed enough by his 5 goals and 6 assists in 3 games of Daily Knockout that I purchased his IF for 455k. He scored a hat trick on his debut. His movement trumps Martial by some distance, and his feet and finishing feel great. Very, very happy with him.

The key in that plan will be if the La Liga SBC hits tomorrow as (big three aside) I have more or less all of the players I need and whichever player is given as the reward should be able to slot nicely into one of my sides.

Just went online to do the Pirlo SBC, surprisingly easy as it turned out and was quite fun battering teams. I'm guessing the standard lurking in Online single match is pretty poor though.

It's bizarre. Enjoying using a player that is so underused actually - he's hardly a hidden gem, but I rarely see anyone in FUT Champs with him, it normally being either 3FC frontlines or the now near-ubiquitous 4-1-2-1-2 narrow and 4-3-1-2 formation that eliminate wide-men. Whilst those formations are somewhat killing the game with people playing three stay back midfielders and just passing up to the front three to do all of the attacking work, it works in my favour in terms of value for underused wide players. IF and TOTGS Mbappe, IF Sane, SIF Sterling are all cheap as chips.

For my other team, I've taken to switching POTM Salah and POTM Sane around shortly after kick off, as the former is far better out wide and the latter is the best player I've tried as a striker, and even better now I'm doing so on 10 chem.


I wouldn't normally bother, but I've started saving packs in the run up to TOTY. The key in that plan will be if the La Liga SBC hits tomorrow as (big three aside) I have more or less all of the players I need and whichever player is given as the reward should be able to slot nicely into one of my sides.

Just went online to do the Pirlo SBC, surprisingly easy as it turned out and was quite fun battering teams. I'm guessing the standard lurking in Online single match is pretty poor though.

My double NAT is stopping me getting singles games, as well as draft after paying 15k for the privilege. Fucking annoying, as it limits me to FUT Champs. I used to port forward to get around it, but the new router has such an awful UI I can't bring myself to do it. Cost wise I think it'll stack up as follows:

Bergkamp (using Rui Costa to get him) - 600k
Farhrmann - 4k
Mustafi - 75k
Kimmich Upgrade (optional) - 100k

So I think I'd be looking at 1.7m coins in total. Drawbacks are that I'd be removing Rico from the team ( :cry: ) and I'm not sure Bergkamp would work brilliantly in that role on 7 chem. However, I'd have a midfield 3 (while short) of three absolute terriers and Bergkamp would still look like this with a Hunter on 7 chemistry.
