Most of the times I regret interacting with people whatsover (see the other day where I was told that saying the South Sudan civil war is bad was racist) I get most of my 'engagement' from boosters from 'influential' posters via RTs. I turned analytics on for this post to see where it's at (I had it on when it released on my other account but I always shut the account down and move to another alias when I'm unemployed) and it's about 3x the average non 'power user' (10% of Twitters userbase creates 90% of the content) so it's not that bad.

Language is about conveying meaning, so of course it matters that words and phrases are coming to represent the exact opposite of what they actually mean. It's not about hierarchy it's just about being able to talk to someone speaking the same language and have them understand what you're saying, which isn't guaranteed if 'could care less' is being used to convey the only thing it actually rules out.

Language is about conveying meaning, so of course it matters that words and phrases are coming to represent the exact opposite of what they actually mean. It's not about hierarchy it's just about being able to talk to someone speaking the same language and have them understand what you're saying, which isn't guaranteed if 'could care less' is being used to convey the only thing it actually rules out.
