Madrid will coast it 2-0.

Michael Carrick's All-Stars is a band name waiting to happen.

If Dybala starts I'll back him to grab one with Real Madrid winning 2-1. Otherwise, I agree with Lewis. They'll probably leave it until the second half to get the job done.

Raoul Duke
02-06-2017, 06:10 AM
Can't really see Juve winning. They're good, but Real are bonkers and Ronaldo/Ramos will fist them

Magic

CR7 hatrick or pens with Buffy saving all of them.

Juve 1-0. Nobody retains the Champions League.

John
02-06-2017, 11:37 AM
Tianjin vs Shanghai has just started with a little contingent of fans in an empty stadium holding up a 'NO FANS NO FOOTBALL' banner.

It's an odd product, this. Plenty of recognisable names and the ceremony of a big cup final, but no fans and the least polished presentation I've ever seen.

Lewis

Juve 1-0. Nobody retains the Champions League.

Ronaldo does.

I honestly do believe we'll do this.

If they can't break you down, Real are happy to take shots from unlikely positions. It's incredibly tough to break Juventus down, and they'll be happy to cover unlikely shots all day.

If Madrid win, it'll be a Ronaldo screamer. But if that doesn't happen, I feel like we should have an advantage in the grind.

When's Buffon's contract up?

Waffdon
03-06-2017, 01:42 PM
Isco is starting, so I'd fancy Real Madrid to do it.

Gray Fox
03-06-2017, 03:06 PM
I'd like to think a player as good as Buffon has been and still is, would get the final medal he needs to finish the set. It'd be a shame for him to have to retire in a few years without one.

However Juventus have the walking bottlejob upfront. They should probably avoid giving him their chances.

John Arne
03-06-2017, 03:47 PM
I can't see anything but a Real win. 3-0.

Shindig

End this pre-show Black Eyed Peas bollocks.

Goldie Looking Chain's been snubbed here.

Gray Fox
03-06-2017, 06:39 PM
Good god, what is this?

Shindig
03-06-2017, 06:40 PM
Does Fergie still get royalties for the backing track? EDIT: "Guys!? REMEMBER THIS SONG WE DID!? THE ONE ABOUT THAT FEELING WE HAVE."

Some people still maintain these were credible rappers once.

What the fuck is this?

Shindig
03-06-2017, 06:44 PM
Oh. Owen Hargreaves. Still hasn't got the hang of this, has he? And I hate the Champions' League anthem with lyrics.

GOAT. Shits all over Messi in terms of Champions League knockouts.

Gray Fox
03-06-2017, 07:12 PM
You know Messi has won 4 Champions League titles to Ronaldos 3(so far) right?

Sir Andy Mahowry
03-06-2017, 07:14 PM
Stunning.

Adramelch
03-06-2017, 07:15 PM
That was so filthy.

Christ. That's outstanding! Sound excited Owen, you breathless tart.

Sir Andy Mahowry
03-06-2017, 07:16 PM
Croatian commentator was loving it.

John Arne
03-06-2017, 07:17 PM
The BT Sport commentators pronunciation of Chiellini is annoying.

Waffdon
03-06-2017, 07:18 PM
That ball didn't touch the ground in Madrid's half after four touches, did it? Orgasmic stuff

Shindig
03-06-2017, 07:18 PM
Apparently that was Ronaldo's 600th career goal, as well.

Reg
03-06-2017, 07:48 PM
Mandzukic showing Ronaldo how to do a bicycle kick. Made it even better by seemingly starting to volley first time before taking it on the chest instead.

Magic
03-06-2017, 07:49 PM
Cent believe in missing this lids

Sir Andy Mahowry
03-06-2017, 08:07 PM

Gray Fox

Time for Higuain to step up. I forgot he was playing for a while.

03-06-2017, 08:13 PM
Juventus strangled Real offensively in the first half but this is just a bottle job now. What a shame.

Reg
03-06-2017, 08:16 PM
Juventus have given up way too much space from early on. Their best chance of winning this was a sit back 1-0.

Pen
03-06-2017, 08:17 PM
Ronaldo really is the greatest.

Gray Fox
03-06-2017, 08:20 PM
Ronaldo might murder any Madrid player who dares to score now. Have there been many hattricks in the Champions League final?

Pleb
03-06-2017, 08:25 PM
Puskás and Di Stefano are two of only three players to have scored a hat-trick in a European Cup or Champions League final

...according to Wiki...

Reg
03-06-2017, 08:26 PM
I can't remember a single one. But then my memory sucks.

Ramos is such a dick.

03-06-2017, 08:30 PM
How is that a yellow? What the actual fuck.

Waffdon
03-06-2017, 08:31 PM
Ramos

03-06-2017, 08:31 PM
I'd love to see someone KO Ramos, the prick.

Magic
03-06-2017, 08:31 PM
Well sounds like a bunch of shit!

Gray Fox
03-06-2017, 08:31 PM
The fuck is the need in that? Horrible cunt.

Gutted for Buffoon.

Sir Andy Mahowry
03-06-2017, 08:36 PM
I hate Madrid so much.

Dan
03-06-2017, 08:38 PM
What a horrendous performance from Juve. Completely fell apart once that second goal went in.

Gray Fox
03-06-2017, 08:38 PM
4 goals conceded and Buffon could do fuck all about any of them.

Shindig
03-06-2017, 08:39 PM
Every Champions' League final he's in, I'm rediscovering how awesome Marcelo is.

Foe
03-06-2017, 08:40 PM
There's so much of that shit in football these days.

They tried that whole book players if they tell the ref to card someone but didn't seem to bother enforcing it. Now they just seem to be accepting it. Game was over by the point anyway, just totally unsportsmanlike. But Ramos is a cunt and we all knew that. Except cuadrado clearly.

Shindig
03-06-2017, 08:46 PM
Thing is, Cuardardo's first card was dumb. Two Juve subs did that thing where they get a yellow with their first touch and Cuardardo's second was a dumb reaction against one of the biggest queens on the pitch. If you're playing against Ramos, don't give him an excuse.

CJay
03-06-2017, 08:54 PM
That's a joke. No one in the studio has even mentioned what Ramos did.

First half was excellent. Second half petered out.

Kikó
03-06-2017, 08:58 PM
Sponny caught up in the shit in Turin.

Reg

Well it was pretty good, it had three goals.

Three of the last 4 Champions Leagues they've won now. Next season's latter stages could really do with being shaken up.

Yevrah
03-06-2017, 09:10 PM
A bit like Man Utd Ajax that in that as good a team as the underdog might be, they just didn't have the players to compete.

Ronaldo needs to calm down on the surgery if he wants to avoid looking like David Guest by the time he's 40.

Lewis
03-06-2017, 09:33 PM
Ronaldo.

CJay
04-06-2017, 01:14 AM
Well it was pretty good, it had three goals.

As a contest, I mean. Juventus did nothing.

Both goals in the first half were beautifully made and taken. Juventus' didn't hit the ground from Bonucci(?)'s pass.

ItalAussie
04-06-2017, 01:56 AM
We were fine until the unstoppable long-range goal went in. Then we lost our shape when we had to try and chase again.

Bad luck really. That sucks.

Zidane.

These testimonials are getting a bit elaborate. You used to just have Celtic down to guarantee a good crowd of sad acts, but Michael Carrick can't have even met half of these opponents.

Danny
04-06-2017, 04:01 PM
Michael Carrick All-Star XI: Shay Given, Michel Salgado, Jamie Carragher, John Terry (c), Eric Abidal, Damien Duff, Gaizka Mendieta, Marcos Senna, Clarence Seedorf, Robbie Keane, Michael Owen.

Substitutes: Alex Bruce, Joan Capdevila, Philip Neville, Richard Garcia, Trevor Sinclair, Eidur Gudjohnsen

The bold all played in the prem/were his teammates. I imagine he met the rest in European games.

I struggle to believe that he was big enough mates with the likes of John Terry, let alone Michel Salgado, to justify their inclusion in the 'Michael Carrick All Stars'. He isn't Pele. They should have just played West Ham.

There's probably a WhatsApp group with all these people on it with calls to arms for the latest stop on the backslapping charity circuit.

Joan Capdevila is my favourite selection in there by a comfortable margin.

John
05-06-2017, 11:17 AM
Between him and Senna I wonder if Carrick holidayed in Villareal or something.
