That will be a stinking PO final with no winners for football or the PL.

I'll miss the cup final, unless my cricket team gets rolled, which we probably will. Still, I have few concerns. It's only Ray Parlour.

Exeter up please. Fuck Blackpool.

No poll again.

Everybody seems to be writing off Arsenal. Their defence always seems a bit shaky, so surely Kosc and Gabriel aren't huge losses?

Arsenal: 12%
Chelsea: 88%

That combover on Alex McLeish.

This is going to hurt Arsenal quite a lot when they get turned over.

27-05-2017, 04:54 PM
Unlike Arsenal to turn up to this extent in a game that matters.

Boydy
27-05-2017, 04:59 PM
Surely Arsenal playing really well and winning this with Wenger then signing a contract extension is exactly what's meant to happen?

What? It's been chance-free dross.

Magic

It has been good actually. Both teams with intent unlike that disgusting Europa final.

John
27-05-2017, 05:23 PM
The ball's been cleared off the line twice and Mertesacker's had to produce two great last ditch tackles to stop Costa scoring. It objectively hasn't been 'chance-free'.

Offshore Toon
27-05-2017, 05:23 PM
There have been two or three very good chances at least.

Giggles
27-05-2017, 05:25 PM
There was Welbeck falling over himself near the Chelsea line and a couple of nothing breaks. But yeahz I didn't realise you were all so invested. Except John, that's always expected.

Fantastic call. Moses looking like a twat in a high profile game might help to prevent it alongside retrospective action.

I don't mind Ronaldo being up his own arse because he's one of the greatest footballers of all time, but the way Giroud struts about makes me think he's probably an insufferable French twat.

Three in a row. That's just a bit weird.

Funny turn of events this season. Chelsea go 4-0 down to Arsenal by half time early on in the season, change their system and go on a record-equalling match winning run. Arsenal underachieve in the league but have a resurgence of form after they copy Chelsea's system and beat them in the FA Cup Final.

Some ITK wag reckons Gary Bowyer is going to be announced as Swindon Town manager when the dust has settled after today's PO final. It's leftfield enough to be believable, but if it was any other club than Blackpool I'd say there is no way a manager would win promotion and then leave for a team in the league below.

Lewis
28-05-2017, 02:06 PM
Is there much dislike of Blackpool in the lower divisions, or are fans too concerned with their own clubs being run into the ground by idiots to be bothered about ex-Premiership sides being abused (arf, 'cause their owner is a rapist lol)?

mo
28-05-2017, 02:17 PM
I think the fan base that dislikes Blackpool the most is their own. I've never picked up on any animosity towards the fans - more concern that the same thing doesn't happen to your own club.

Good game so far. Huddersfield look exciting.

Lewis
29-05-2017, 02:25 PM
It ticks all the boxes really. Northern (Yorkshire) side, which arrests the DECLINE OF THE NORTH thesis; it will annoy Richard Scudamore to have another pokey little town besmirching the Product; Magic will be SEETHING all summer; and it might even help sink their waste of time rugby team in time for better options emerging.

On the other hand, Jaap Stam mate.

Reg
29-05-2017, 02:54 PM

You'd think Huddersfield are going to have to spend loads to get up to par - Wells could have a Danny Ings/Callum Wilson season in him, Mooy looks alright if they can sign him permanently and Schindler/Lowe/Hogg could 'do a job' but they need loads of work IMO.
