Now that Southgate has binned Rooney off his England squad, what will Rooney do now considering all of the (annual) media speculations surrounding him?

Everton. You heard it here first.

Pepe

China.

I'd have thought Everton too.

I'm not sure why Everton would want him. Even the marketing opportunities, once scaled down to their sort of level, wouldn't make it worthwhile.

Baz

Celtic.

Who gives a flying fuck. Seriously.

Celtic wouldn't be a bad shout. Trophies, Europe, 30+ goals, but they'd never pay him.

I dunno. Probably America, but I don't really give a fuck and I never could resist a good Turtle.

Although, Graham Poll was always the best Poll option.

That was my guess in Baz's guessing thread. Is this ITK info?

I think MLS is more likely than China. Rooney does not strike me as someone who'd enjoy an entirely different culture.

The Americans don't think our Wayne will have the fitness to cope with the MLS. It'll be somewhere easy and close to home.

Tranmere.

Swap deal for Lukaku

Wouldn't have thought Everton would pay the kind of money needed to get him.

It'll be China and he'll be dead from a Chow Mein overdose in 2 years.

I reckon you can narrow it down to Everton, Stoke, and at an absolute push West Ham. I don't think you'd see him rocking up at any of the other clubs in England.

Koeman doesn't strike me as the type to want him there but it'll all be lovey dovey I guess, as it always is in that part of the world.

Sunderland. With all that hot Pickford money they're obviously getting.

Anywhere. I don't care where.

It would be fucking brilliant for all involved if he went to Celtic.

Stoke was the first name that sprung to my mind as well.

Back in the good old days he'd already be there now, but I really doubt they have the money.

For the nouveau riche fat slob who wants to play his football at a slow pace, there is of course the Middle East.

Or Serie A.
