Does anyone else on here listen to talkSPORT? I've binned 1xtra and now I have this on all day in the car, every weekday, and it's pretty good.
06:00-10:00 is the "Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast" with Alan Brazil and, usually, Ray Parlour. I don't really like Alan Brazil but Ray Parlour makes it okay, and I like that they talk about betting quite a bit. I usually only tune in around 8:30 anyway so don't get too much of them. Sometimes Alan has Micky Quinn with him who is good but not as good as Ray Parlour, in my opinion. Ray Wilkins is usually good too (he's on on Friday) but Alan seems to do most of the talking even moreso when he's on, so that can be annoying.
10:00-13:00 is Jim White and any number of guests. On Fridays he has Perry Groves and Bob Mills, which is my favourite day because Bob Mills is great, and Perry Groves' quiz is always worth a listen. When Colin Murray first left (because the company who own The Sun bought the station and he's a total eclipse bellend) I really didn't like Jim White. I used to only tune in for Colin Murray because his chats with Keith Gillespie and Stuart Pierce were absolutely hilarious, so didn't think I'd be tuning back in a few months later and enjoying it as much as I am. Tony Cascarino was on today (he usually does the breakfast show on a weekend with the irritating Georgie Bingham) who isn't the best, but like I said before Jim changes his guests often enough that I don't mind when it's someone who isn't as good as someone like Mickey Gray or Ray Parlour. Tomorrow he's got Danny Murphy who's alright but he always says the same stuff and when you've been listening for a while he can get a bit boring. The best thing about Jim White is although he rarely gives his opinion on a subject. he'll always give an opinion that he knows will provoke discussion, either with his guests or to get people wanting to ring up and say their bit. I'd still prefer to have Colin Murray back though.
13:00-16:00 is the real winner though, and the one everyone should listen to. [Paul] Hawksbee & [Andy] Jacobs chatting not only about sports, but whatever's in the news, what they've been upto that evening, what they're doing later. It's basically two old fellas who should know better just chatting rubbish, making silly jokes, and all the while finding eachother hilarious in the process. Probably what Lad Bible would define as bantz, thinking about it. I love it.

Just look how awesome they are. :D That was from today cos the had Olympic boxer Nicola Adams, and by eck she's a bit Northern int she?
And then 16:00-19:00(I think, I'm usually home by about 16:30) is "Drive Time" with Adrian Durham and Darren Gough. I really don't like Adrian Durham and his opinions are those of an absolute perk, but he works well with Goughy, and I never find myself wanting to switch over so I guess it can't be that bad. If there's ever a talkSPORT drinking game, if you drink everytime Goughy says "Aid," you'd be paralytic by five o'clock. I do like how Adrian Durham purposely winds up various sets of fans everyday, and then even gets them on the phone so they can have a go at him. It's often quite funny when he shoots them back down, albeit after he's cut them off so they can't respond.
You should give it a listen if you get chance.
