I've tried to fit in as much as I can but only having 10 options in the poll is well shit. I decided against 'other' but feel free to let me missed something glaringly obvious. I didn't bother with EDM/bass/trap since I doubt that's popular on here.

I've picked the ones I listen to most often. Classical less so but is when I need to concentrate on/learn something, and occasionally for enjoyment.

Mahow listens to hip hop? Wouldn't have considered him the type, tbh.

Yeah, I'd say pick stuff you listen to every fortnight. Recently I've found "homework edit" versions of Nujabes tracks that are quite good for studying to.

Rock/Metal/Indie/Blues is a bit of a mad option, I'd say I listen to Blues and Rock the most out of that and then funk/soul pretty much makes up the rest.

I love rolling around in my car singing along to King Kunta.

No idea who Lil Dicky is.

I tried to group stuff based on their origins. I don't think any of those genres are too far removed from each other.

Didn't even know she had one out. Any good?

Yeah really enjoyed it. More similar to The London Sessions than her older stuff. I don't like some of the drums (not a fan of the drums in hip-hop and rnb over the last 5-10 years) but some of the songs are really cool on first listen.

Jungle/DnB, with some Grime/Dub/Techno thrown in. Kinda fallen out of Dutch/Italian/German Hardcore.

Really feeling the minimal style these days, ala:

Kanye has a decent feature on Mary J Blige's new album, which had completely passed me by until it popped up on Apple Music the other day.

I don't know how people listen to stuff like that.

EDIT: I mean what DS posted.

I don't know how people listen to most rock/hip-hop/indie style stuff. All feels way too slow for me.

I went down a classical hole the other day. I don't quite know what qualifies as filler for that genre. Maybe the crap's been lost to time?

I still listen to Oasis
The Verve
Manic Street Preachers
Blur
Pulp

I dont care all that much for the music of today.
