I made a shit Hillsborough joke after this (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/17363134), he claimed to have been keeping a record of my cracks about it and threatened to EXPOSE me on RAWK (complete with mugshot and university details), everyone lolled, he went away for a few months, Yevrah started a 'Where is Alan?' thread, he came back and claimed to have been trolling, everyone lolled at him again, he asked to have his account banned and left forever with his reputation in tatters, and then all of the original posts and comeback thread disappeared.

It was a shame to have lost him, but lol mate.

A while back. Haz went off on a tear about something, and instead of acknowledging him, the rest of the posters in the thread instead just started very obviously ignoring him and talking about the best roller coasters in the country or something instead. It turns out that Haz doesn't respond well to being ignored, and after throwing a tantrum (which everyone continued to ignore because it was getting hilarious), he started spamming the thread with hundreds of posts, each containing dozens of huge images, giant blocks of text from Dawkins or Hitchins or something, and just generally trying to break the board.

But it turns out you can just delete posts, so no harm done. I wasn't even going to ban him until he started trying to break other threads on the board as well. There was a man who did not deal well with being ignored.


EDIT: I think it might have been waterslides rather than roller coasters.

I didnt mean to drag up old news but as someone who lurked - I have said that far too much this last day or so - I felt it was worth pointing out because it doesnt come across well at times. Not just Magic_Johnson but others too. If you all had the benefit of being withdrawn from it all as I have had over the last 18 months or so then perhaps you would see it as I do. I wonder how many lurkers decided not to sign up because of things like that. It was mentioned in another thread a few days ago that this place used to be hostile and a bit negative and I fully agree. It was a horrible place at one point.
