I have proposed a slight relaxation of the roster limits in the 12 teamer. Yes, it may benefit me next week as I could end up with no QB at this rate... but I'm sure other teams will fall victim to it at some stage, and it seems to make sense to me. If anyone doesn't like it though, let me know, and we'll put it to a vote or something. If I have to take an L next week, so be it, but yea, I feel I won't be the only one to get bitten by it at some stage.

As far as my leagues go... somehow, I'm currently winning everywhere. I thought Mahow had beaten me already, so shocked by that one.

Picked up Josh Reynolds this morning in the Dynasty league, he was the only WR free agent who had a remote chance of gaining points. I then decided to keep him on the bench and play Breida anyway.... :facepalm:

So after that double late game drama, it's all set.

In TTH standard I lead by 7, but Tommo has Vikings D and Diggs to play, whilst I'm done scoring. Nothing I can do but accept defeat here.

Dynasty is different. I'm 12 points up with my Edelman to go against his Ingram and Latty Murray. I could see that one being very close.

Dans Dynasty sees me up by 70, Pleb has Brady, Patterson and Kelvin Benjamin. If they somehow put up those points I've still got Ingram, Kamara and Lutz to back me up.

The end of the 2 evening games has changed things in my work league though. That Kirk touchdown saved the day on him as he was sat on 2 points through most of the game, this brought me to within 14 points of my opponent and I was feeling confident.
But then the Packers shit the bed. A field goal for his kicker combined with the fumble on the kick-off bumps his lead back up to 19.02 points.

He's done scoring, whilst I have Dan Bailey and Thielen to go. I have a bad feeling Thielen might finally have his down game this week too. 10 points off each isn't a lot to ask for, right?

Well I've sealed a win in the regular league with that Diggs TD, as Gray Fox says.

Dynasty is a different matter - Kamara, Lutz and the Minnesota DST to play, but I'm way behind and my opponent has Gronk and James White tomorrow against the Bills, so I'm pretty sure it's already over.

Wow so Gurley taking a knee last night had big consequences.

I know several people who have lost thanks to him not running it into the end zone and they are fuming. Same thing happened to me with Ingram a few weeks back.

TTH - Standard 3-5

Up against Mahows joke of a team, so I'm going to need my Chiefs stack to come in big. I'm also not sure I've ever seen a QB projected 32 points before. Luckily the league is still tight. Just the 1 win separating 9th from 4th. Each win/loss from here will have big a massive effect on who makes it past week 13.

TTH - Dynasty 2-5-1

You read that record right. I somehow pulled a draw off in fantasy football. I was expecting a stat correction either way to seal it. It only needed one yard either way after all.
Unfortunately it didn't help my situation much. I'm looking at needed a win streak to sneak into the play offs. Given that I'm facing the worst byepocalypse I've ever had, it doesn't seem like it starts this week.

I've never been given a 16% chance of winning before the scoring has even started. Long week ahead here.

A bit of separation has began to happen in this league. The top 5 have started to break away, which could further expand this week. Only 2 of the top 5 face each other. Given there are only 4 play-off spots here this could be crucial.

I'm projected to win by about 40 points this week, but we'll see if that actually happens.

Work League 5-3

The disgrace of losing last week hurt. Any of a number of things would have pushed me over the line. Hopkins insane catch being called back. Ty Montgomery taking a knee. Rosen throwing more than 1 capable pass to Kirk. Thielen being targeted once more in garbage time too.

It means the league is now very tight. I've finished 10-3 the last 2 seasons in this league, but I'll need some good going to get that now.

One thing that has helped is trade deadline day. In this league I've held stock in Aaron Jones and Marvin Jones jr. I was tempted to trade the latter last week, but decided to hold out. With Tate out of the picture it poses the question to Jones. Are they just happy that they're starting to establish the running game? If not, there's >20% target share that now gets to be divided between Golladay and Jones.

Aaron Jones also gets a bump by losing one of his competition. You'd think he's the back you want on the field if the Packers are trying to run the ball in.

Despite being next to last, I also managed to pick up DJ Moore. This leaves me with some 'good' headaches this week.

It's good to finally face someone in this league who loses someone meaningful to bye weeks.

The Bucs are the worst defence in football. So I've gone for Moore for now, but then Jones is going to see more volume and that defence just got roasted by the Saints. I've got my eye on Gordon to see how his practice goes, but I'm happy to plug in Jones if needs be.

I'm not overly thrilled with Ryans matchup this week. However the only waiver options are Smith, Dak and Carr. I'm not too sure I could trust to play any of those, but Smith does have Atlanta followed by Tampa Bay next week. If he's ever going to score points it'll be now.

I'll be missing most of the action tonight, but this is where we're at:

Main League, 7-1, 1st Place, Opponent 5-3, 3rd Place

This is projected to be a close one as I consider the top 3 to really be the only 3 horses left in the race. We've outscored him quite comfortably on the season but we only beat him on a stat correction the first time. Projections have this as 53-47 to me. Adding Julio Jones via trade is going to help my weak WRs (behind Michael Thomas we had very little) but Ertz and Ebron sharing the bye sucks and we've had to draft in Austin Hooper. We really need Khalil Mack to get back to bossing it. Strangely, I'm holding 2 IDPs who aren't active in Mack and Leonard. The RB battle is going to be brutal with Gurley and Kamara taking on McCaffrey and Zeke (he also has Melvin Gordon in the flex too). Ultimately, this shouldn't matter too much as we are 4 games clear of the 5th place side, but it would be nice to beat a legitimate rival.

Original Dynasty, 7-1 1st Place, Opponent 1-7, 7th Place

This one really shouldn't be in doubt. Not only is my opponent getting destroyed every week, but the bye week bug has hit him hard as he is starting Alex Collins and Peyton Barber at RB with David Johnson, Barkley and Mack all on bye. He had a couple of players play on Thursday and while Pierre Garcon was better than advertised, Jordy Nelson fucked it up and cancelled him out. He's pretty much on projection, but that's not going to be enough for him. Yahoo rates it as 79-21 for me to win with an almost 50 point difference. Unfortunately, the team in 5th has a similar "free" win lined up so we are unlikely to extend our lead, but we should maintain our 3 game cushion over them. Just have to keep an eye on Chris Carson's injury and hope I can bench him in time if he's out.

TTH Standard

My team has fallen off a cliff after a hot start and I could barely put together a line up today. Should be a win for Ian here. I really don't like my team at all, mostly thanks to Bell.

TTH Dynasty

Typically, things are looking up now it's almost certainly too late. Parker and DJ Moore arrived at the party much too late. Oh well. I think we've got a strong, young team who should be able to compete in the future with a few key additions, so I'm optimistic for next season, even if this one is a bust. Still, Yahoo expects me to romp past Fay, which is always welcome.

The end result is we lead by about 35 points and we have the Dallas DST to play tonight while he has Zeke. It isn't impossible we lost from here if Zeke has a Kamara/McCaffrey like day and the Dallas DST is dreadful, but that shouldn't happen. Somehow despite being projected 288 points we are once again going to be outscored by "Team Awesome", who just look like an unstoppable juggernaut in the weekly scoring right now (they finished on 295). The 5th place team (who we have to look to stay above for a Play Off spot) picked up a routine win too, so we will stay 4 games clear.

Original Dynasty

As predicted, this wasn't close, even with Carson going down early to let me down. He fielded Gronk, but it didn't matter as we currently lead 188.76 to 97.16 with him being finished and us having the Dallas DST. Elsewhere in the league the 5th place side ('The Order') squeaked past the worst team in the league (though it was MUCH closer than advertised) but was let down by the team in 2nd losing to 4th place Fay, meaning that The Order will remain a game back despite being the top scorers in the league this season.

Edit- To clarify, 'The Order' in 5th are a game back from the Play Off positions, but 3 games back from my team.

TTH Standard

Won somehow. I wouldn't have beaten many other teams. The rest of the top 4 all seem to have won, so there's likely no real changes at the top, though Ian and Baz could both fall out of the Play Off places. Dan Vs Pleb in the fight to stay alive is huge.

TTH Dynasty

Where to even begin. I went to the cinema last night and missed all the 6pm games. When I came out, I had lost this, with only Kelce and Duke Johnson bothering to turn up at all. But then it all changed, almost like the movie was a curse on my team. All his players stopped scoring, and Michael Thomas pulled us closer and closer to pulling it back from the dead. When he scored that 70+ yard TD, it moved my chances of winning from 55% to 91% according to Yahoo, and so it proved. MVS scored enough for him to beat me without the TD play, but with it, we win for only the 3rd time this year! The win will see us move ahead of GF and Pleb, but stay behind Jarred who seems to have turned a corner. We will also remain 2 games off the Play Offs with Sam taking over the final spot from Fay. It still seems very unlikely we make it, but it's a start, I guess. We have to follow this up against GF next week.

Other 2 leagues

In '4th and Inches' I entered the week in 2nd spot after a couple of down weeks. We smashed the 6th places side by a score of 272.23 to 183.15 largely behind the Brees to Thomas connection. The league leaders, who we outscored by 70 points, also won by a point to remain a game clear of us. However, the team currently in 4th lost so they will drop out of the Play Offs and our lead over 5th will improve to 2 games.

In 'The BFL', my final league and the only league other than TTH Dynasty where I'm currently struggling to make the play offs, I entered the week in 4th, 1 game clear of 5th after beating the team in 5th in a crunch game last week. This week I took on the league leaders, and it's still on a knife edge going into tonight. He leads me by 11.28 points, and the only remaining player is the Dallas DST for me. They've only managed to score more than that twice this season, so it's not a given, but against the shitty Titans, I have to hope they can do it.

It's probably still an overpayment, but I'm not sure it's as bad as it looks at first glance.

I feel my opponent has given up, and this should be a walkover even if he does correct the many holes in his line up. I'm more interested in the clash between 2nd place 'Team Awesome' and 3rd Place 'Brees Nuts', especially so because we're projected to outscore both easily and end the week as the top scorers (we're currently 2nd, 38 points behind 1st but 216 points ahead of 3rd). We'll see what happens there. Elsewhere 5th place 'The Vipers' takes on 6th place 'Multiples Scorgasms' to determine which of the 2 will become the team I need to stay ahead of to book a Play Off spot. Assuming we win, we'll remain 4 games clear of whoever wins that with only 4 games to go and the play offs will be as good as booked.

Dynasty League, 8-1, 1st Place Vs Opponent 5-4, 5th Place

My opponent this week is the top scorer of the league having outscored me by 41 points on the season. He's had rotten luck and currently finds himself one game back from the Play Off places. This game is massive because a win here would be a major dent on his chances of making it, especially with 3rd places taking on 7th and 4th place taking on 8th, so they should both win. The projections like him to beat me, as he did earlier in the season. It's not often I need an upset to win in this league, but with Hopkins on bye while none of his big names are aside from Thielen, it's going to be a tough one. I'm going back and forth on many elements of my team selection, including whether or not I dare to start both Olsen and Funchess on Thursday night, or whether I bench one or both of them for the likes of Fournette, Ingram or Cooper. I just hope I get it right.

TTH Dynasty, 3-6, 9th Place Vs Gray Fox, 2-6-1, 11th Place

I still can't believe he has a tie in his record. We need to win this game to have any hope of this season amounting to anything. Our team seems to be getting back on track a little with Duke Johnson finally giving me a RB to have some optimism about and players like DJ Moore showing they could maybe, possibly be useful. Like last week, I'm somewhat optimistic, but I probably shouldn't be. Even though we won last week, only 3 of our players showed up. I feel whoever loses this is out of contention and the winner will still need a lot of luck, but we will see where it goes.

TTH Standard, 6-3, 3rd Place Vs Gray Fox, 3-6, 9th Place

Last week was the first week I managed a win in all 4 leagues. Helped massively by Dalvin Cook getting negative points. Week 12 is fast upon us though and it's crunch time.

TTH - Dynasty(3-7-1) sees me out of the running. The only real aim here is to stay fair to the competition and to try and avoid the wooden spoon.

TTH - Standard(5-6) sees me clinging onto the last play-off berth with my fingernails. It's tight as hell in the league too, with only 1 player confirmed in the play-offs and realistically anyone from 4th-9th still well able to miss out. No Mahomes and Hill this week hurts. Projections have Baz thumping me and I don't disagree with it.

Last weeks win was huge as it seals my play-off berth, the only thing left to play for this week is a bye week. I could afford a loss, but in theory all 3 teams below me could pick up wins this week and challenge for it on the final week. The loss of OJ Howard hurts a little as he was on good form the past 4-5 games, but I managed to nab Brate and with Jamies coming back in that should work further in my favour.

I can't believe I've clinched playoffs in TTH Dynasty with the QB trouble I've had all season.

Initially drafted Jimmy G, Darnold and Eli. Jimmy G goes down after Week 3, Darnold and Eli take over but both are pretty dreadful; I don't think I hit double figures twice before trading Eli away for Flacco. Flacco has a couple good weeks before back to his mediocre self. I see Winston has been benched so I bring in Fitzmagic who has one great week before throwing a boatload of picks and scoring me 8 pts. So out he goes, and in came Nick bloody Mullens for last week. He was shocking against the Bucs and so back out he goes. I didn't think I'd be starting Week 13 with Colt McCoy as my starting QB. I don't hold out much hope for the playoffs.

Mahow looks to be out of the race for the 1st round bye as he's being demolished by Sam. I'm currently taking the bye from Thommo but he will retain it if 1) I lose 2) He wins or 3) He outscores me. Currently I'm only on pace to out score him by 8 points and both results are only being decided by 10 points... so it's ridiculously tight.

As for sneaking into the 6th spot, Baz is currently projected to win a tight match over Ian (6 points in it right now) but Pleb is losing by 19 to GF. That would push Pleb out and put GF in. Dan isn't catching GF (or Pleb if Pleb turns it around) so he needs Ian to overcome Baz and then he needs to outscore Baz by 20 (Baz is currently on pace to outscore him by about 8).
