Interesting timing. He does come across as a bit of a tool, though.

How'd you fuck that one up?

Autocorrect.
Karanka apparently is often mistaken for Karbala.

I was thinking the other day Boro's not the kinda of club to sack during a relegation year. There's some history with him, though and maybe some friction between him and the board over January's deals.

Bring back McClaren.

Probably explains the reason they sacked him actually. Got to go and get Steve while he's available.

Things don't get interesting until Alan Curbishley is 16-1.

There isn't really a manager left you reckon could come in and have the experience to turn it around. Palace have already played the Big Sam card. If they end up with Pardew or Sherwood they might as well pack it in now.

I don't see why they wouldn't look further afield like they did with Karanka, and as Hull have done with relative success.

Graeme Souness is 50/1. Pile on.

From their website: "Steve Agnew will step up from his role as assistant Head Coach to take control of first team affairs with immediate effect."

They don't say anything about a search for a new manager so maybe the assistant will see the season out.

Five of the top six clubs still to play. Can't see them staying up.

I'm usually right behind sackings like this, but they spent about fifteen quid in the summer, so how did they expect the season to pan out?
