View Full Version : The "Holy Fuck! This could be amazing" thread
I was reading Newsweek the other day and this article came up on a new type of washing up with less water and the use of nylon beads.

Pretty amazing technology if it's true and it will eradicate red sock colour leakage.

That's washing, not washing up. I've never had a red sock run into my dinner plates anyway.

I've never understood why washing machines take as long and use as much water as they do.

I only skim-read both the articles, but neither seemed to address the possibility of beads getting everywhere and being a nuisance.

When Xeros sells a washer, it also sells a service that costs $1,500 per machine each month—for upkeep and maintenance, and for the collection and replacement of the beads
Sounds practical, I'll take two.
