Fucking hell, Arsenal.

Giggles
31-01-2017, 08:00 PM
What's the fucks going on at the Emirates?

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-01-2017, 08:06 PM
:harold:

They need to slip down before making a charge for the 4th placed trophy.

CJay
31-01-2017, 08:17 PM
We look alright, for the first time in quite a while. We're actually pressing properly.

Gray Fox
31-01-2017, 08:18 PM
Someone tell Arsenal it's not February yet. January is our month!

Boydy
31-01-2017, 08:25 PM
As soon as that was given, I thought 'this is a goal'. Sideshow fucking Bob though.

CJay
31-01-2017, 08:25 PM
Good job guys. Great organisation.

Gray Fox
31-01-2017, 08:26 PM
That's a quality free kick. Shame on Mingolet for taking his eye off the taker.

John Arne
31-01-2017, 08:26 PM
For fucks sake. Hazard jumping into Lallana for the free-kick, too. Nice hit, mind.

I didn't hear the whistle, either.
EDIT: whistle was blown, apparently.

Raoul Duke
31-01-2017, 08:27 PM
Be interesting to see when the whistle was. Cracking finish though

Baz
31-01-2017, 08:27 PM
Top freekick. I don't understand why nobody was ready.

John Arne
31-01-2017, 08:29 PM
Top freekick. I don't understand why nobody was ready.

Yup - shit wall, shit keeping.

Magic
31-01-2017, 08:31 PM
Kante really is a beast!

Reg
31-01-2017, 08:33 PM
Mignolet's fault there surely. He wasn't by the post organising his wall so he must have done that part and then just thought he could have a nice chilled look around and forget about the freekick.

Magic
31-01-2017, 08:34 PM
Is there a Matip and Matic or is MacManaman a spaz?

Disco
31-01-2017, 08:36 PM
Both.

Giggles
31-01-2017, 08:36 PM
And also, yes.

Magic
31-01-2017, 08:36 PM

John Arne
31-01-2017, 08:39 PM
Chelsea wasting time in the 37th minute. Fucking hell.

Raoul Duke
31-01-2017, 08:49 PM
Is Klopp officially worse than lvg now then?

Baz
31-01-2017, 08:51 PM
Is Klopp officially worse than lvg now then?No because he'll change things to try and win, whereas Louis would sit back and hope the same shit will work eventually.

Gray Fox
31-01-2017, 08:54 PM
Isn't that what we've been doing since the turn of the year?

Magic
31-01-2017, 08:57 PM
I love how David Moyes' win ratio is the benchmark for all premier league managers.

Raoul Duke
31-01-2017, 08:58 PM
On second viewing, Mong-olé is totally switched-off for that free kick. What a mook.

Gray Fox
31-01-2017, 09:07 PM
What a shank that was.

Boydy
31-01-2017, 09:11 PM
I really don't like the relaxed appearance of managers these days. Look at Klopp and Conte in their tracksuits. They'd look much better in suits.

Waffdon
31-01-2017, 09:13 PM
Conte usually wears a suit.

Willian shouldn't start over Pedro.

Manc
31-01-2017, 09:18 PM

Have a word with yourself.

Baz
31-01-2017, 09:20 PM
I put some glasses on an old woman today and asked her to read the paper to make sure they were right. She looked at the back page spread of Conte for a few seconds and then looked up at me. "Is that you?"

Giggles
31-01-2017, 09:23 PM
Fucking scummer cunts.

Raoul Duke
31-01-2017, 09:24 PM
Only wankers wear tracksuits. It is known.

Boydy
31-01-2017, 09:26 PM

Boydy

Have a word with yourself.

I did. I said 'Look at those two on the touchline in their tracksuits, don't they look scruffy?' and then I replied 'Yes, they do.'

Raoul Duke
31-01-2017, 09:28 PM
Conte looks like Mr. Robot tonight anyway.

-james-
31-01-2017, 09:28 PM
Burnley would be about 3 up if Andre Gray had any sort of brain.

John
31-01-2017, 09:32 PM
Conte looks like Cuddy from House had a rough few years.

-james-
31-01-2017, 09:32 PM
Leicester absolutely can't defend. They really are going down.

Max Power
31-01-2017, 09:34 PM
Leicester absolutely can't defend. They really are going down.
I told everyone last week to get on at 11/1. We are absolute toilet.

Boydy
31-01-2017, 09:34 PM
What a fucking dive.

Raoul Duke
31-01-2017, 09:38 PM
Conte looks like Cuddy from House had a rough few years.

That is a great shout :D

Reg
31-01-2017, 09:39 PM
Their counter attacks are great fun but Chelsea under Conte aren't exactly Brazil 1970 are they? They've been particularly cautious tonight.

Sir Andy Mahowry
31-01-2017, 09:39 PM
John is spot on there.

Also, lol at Spurs for failing to beat Sunderland.

-james-
31-01-2017, 09:47 PM
I told everyone last week to get on at 11/1. We are absolute toilet.

I did, thanks. Currently in the process of liquidating all of my assets, to be invested in Sevilla to qualify at 1.5.

Fan forums are amusing.

Ranieri do the right thing for once and **** off. No more niceties. I hate him. He's so ****ing clueless. But buy sell sell change change fight fight. Twat.

been saying it for months. We are managed by a moron. We have an idiot who couldn't complete a transaction in a two pound brothel running our signings. We are going down and have pissed away the greatest opportunity any club has ever had. *****.

WHY THE **** IS THE COKEHEAD ON THE SET PIECE?!!

No surprises there.

Zaha seething (when it's obviously true) is lol.

Waffdon
31-01-2017, 09:53 PM
Chelsea can lose their next three games and they'll still piss this league.

Disco
31-01-2017, 09:56 PM
Berbatov knew what was up.

Mazuuurk
31-01-2017, 10:05 PM
Why the fuck was Giroud taken off at HT? I think Arsenal could have actually won that game with him on the pitch. Now they played with about 7 forwards on the pitch but never anyone in the box. Sanchez playing as some sort of central attacking midfielder seemed completely off as well.

That was all so fucking painful to watch.

Manc
31-01-2017, 10:21 PM
Wenger out etc.

Baz
31-01-2017, 11:05 PM
I told everyone last week to get on at 11/1. We are absolute toilet.5/1 now :(

Max Power
31-01-2017, 11:12 PM
5/1 now :(

Still big. Get involved.

Lewis
31-01-2017, 11:39 PM
Will relegation feature in the Jamie Vardy film?

phonics
31-01-2017, 11:41 PM
That's the sequel, Jamie Vardeux.

Raoul Duke
31-01-2017, 11:44 PM
He probably should have gone to Arsenal...

Yevrah
31-01-2017, 11:47 PM
Ranieri.

-james-

I'm always amazed at how simple Eric Dier sounds. Definitely thought he'd be posh.

John
01-02-2017, 01:50 AM
He spent about fifteen years living in Portugal so it's probably just a wonky accent. His mum ran something fairly major at the Euros so it's unlikely he grew up common.

The state of him.

Jimmy Floyd
01-02-2017, 07:58 AM
As if the north London pair binned points to Watford and Sunderland.

Jimmy Floyd
01-02-2017, 08:46 AM
Oh, yeah. For a portion of the Chelsea game last night I was in a pub with a load of Arsenal fans. This portion of the game included Liverpool's equaliser and then our penalty miss. Both were treated as if they were the Michael Thomas 88-89 title clinching goal. People hugging each other, dancing around the bar, the works.

This was London, obviously.

niko_cee
01-02-2017, 08:55 AM
When did Clatters blow the whistle for that Luiz freekick? As he was striking the ball?

I'm sure he's bombed one in from about 40 yards against us before as well (during the 4-4?). Or was that the other big Brazilian defender they had?

SvN
01-02-2017, 08:58 AM
On BT Sport they said it was 4 seconds before he hit the ball.

CJay
01-02-2017, 09:59 AM
Yeah it was well before it was taken.

Jimmy Floyd
01-02-2017, 10:03 AM
Is the whistle actually the legal start point or can the referee indicate play to start in other ways?

SvN
01-02-2017, 10:09 AM
No whistle is needed, hence why quick free kicks are a thing.

Adamski
01-02-2017, 10:16 AM
There has to be some form of indication by the referee or if by the player the referee needs to agree.

Jimmy Floyd
01-02-2017, 10:23 AM
Why were the liverfolk all seething then?

Adamski
01-02-2017, 10:27 AM
Default reaction to anything?

CJay
01-02-2017, 10:32 AM
Not sure exactly what the rules are, but in our matches referees usually tell us before the game 'ask me if you want to take it quickly, but if you don't, you have to wait for the whistle.'

CJay
01-02-2017, 10:43 AM
Klopp is mental:

"When Mignolet saved the Liverpool manager went face-to-face with the fourth official, Neil Swarbrick, but insisted the confrontation was not as ugly as it appeared on camera. “I turned to him [Swarbrick] and said: ‘Nobody can beat us.’ Obviously that is absolutely not true but that’s what I said in this moment."

:D

Don't see how he isn't being banned after his comedic shouting in official faces.

Re the free kick - if the ref has counted yards then it's to the whistle.

Sam
01-02-2017, 11:19 AM
This Leicester relegation is firmly on. Don't let us down lads, accept the fate and be welcomed back into the Championship.

Jimmy Floyd
01-02-2017, 11:21 AM
If they play their cards right and win the Champions League, and then win it again next year, they could have their Checkatrade Trophy campaign interrupted by the FIFA World Club Cup.

Boydy
01-02-2017, 11:54 AM
I just can't see Leicester being worse than Hull, Sunderland or Swansea.

Jimmy Floyd
01-02-2017, 12:00 PM
Hull are onto something I think. This manager seems to know what he's doing.

If Leicester can't sack King Claudio, they should bring in Terry Venables or someone as 'assistant'.

SvN
01-02-2017, 12:28 PM
Is Darren Anderton available to sign?

Adamski
01-02-2017, 12:54 PM

As are Swansea with Clement.

Sunderland are gone, Palace in trouble.

Shawberto Carlos might be a bloater, but the team would be less pointlessly right-sided if he was playing.

John

I've just seen Aaron Hughes running out for Hearts. I was absolutely certain he retired about five years ago.

Magic
01-02-2017, 09:24 PM

That'll do, that'll do. No doubt a humbling defeat against Duddersfield will bring us back down to earth. Got tix for Baaardiff tonight. Cat A Ł37! :S

EDIT: Well lol at that.

Sir Andy Mahowry
01-02-2017, 09:32 PM

We've not been in decent shape for a couple of months, to be fair. I fear for us in the business end.

Ha. I spent 80% of the game watching half pace buffering but I'm not sure if that just wasn't the game at full pace.

Boydy

Went for United in the last man standing I was in. :moop:

Lewis
01-02-2017, 10:11 PM
I'm happy to see Antonio Valencia doing nothing with the ball for sixty, maybe seventy minutes; but at some point players need to start remembering why he's a defender now.

Reg
02-02-2017, 07:43 PM
I'd definitely take a draw here. Always nice to have an away game on telly, the ratio must be something like 4:1 in favour of home games since we got the Amex.

Magic
02-02-2017, 07:58 PM
Hopefully it's a savage game with multiple injuries and red cards. J

Jimmy Floyd

I'm going to watch Brentford v Brighton on Sunday. I may not make it through until then though because of the excitement.

Reg
02-02-2017, 09:43 PM
They were brilliant. I think seven or eight Premier League sides would have lost to them tonight.

It's a shame football managers are more likely to dye their hair pink than make a tactical substitution before half time because we could have used another midfielder pretty much from kick off.
