How productive are you from day to day?

I'm really hammering down on my procrastination recently. Hitting the gym, books and work harder than ever.

TV might be a thing of the past. Just need to learn to put my phone down more often.

Not at all. I can waste hours on the internet and computer, even failing to choose a film to watch or game to play, never mind do something useful.

Apart from cooking I do absolutely nothing outside work except look at my phone, laptop, or TV. All three at once mostly.

Pretty terrible. I have grand ideas of reading this and learning that but it never really tends to happen.

When we had no kids we were just focused on going out boozing and going on holiday. Now we do have a kid id love to do things like skiing and climbing and cycling. All the things you can't exactly take a kid too.

I'm fairly sure procrastination is the only thing that keeps this board going.

Outside of work, I don't tend to do much. I go through fits and starts of stuff and then drop it.

Out of season for work at the moment so I've been doing fuck all, piling the pounds back on and sleeping until 12. Its been fantastic.

I'm terrible. I sit down at 8pm knowing I have a limited window in which to work, still spend the first 30 minutes browsing forums and reading the news. I've just finished work and instead of going up to the wife and child I'm here in the living room with the Plymouth game on. I'll go in a bit. Just 5 more minutes...

I am shockingly bad which should be no surprise.

I'm pretty good in general. The only thing I've slacked on is physical exercise. I can't play football properly again until June due to other commitments and I really can't be arsed going to the gym and just sitting there exercising. I find it fucking boring.

A single match of FIFA can easily turn into a 2-3 hour session too often for my liking, but generally I'm happy enough.

Manc's post makes him sound like the kind of knobhead who's always going on about how busy he is.

About this level.

Just don't know how some people have the energy to do so much.

To be honest keeping busy and "getting shit done" is pretty much a daily battle for me. Iv'e learned to give a fuck but not give a fuck. In that I care about getting stuff done but if it doesn't happen asap I try not to get stressed about it.

I'm productive to the extent I need to be, although when I have to either get ahead with work or go above and beyond in effort, I'm utterly useless. So really my productivity is relative of the expectations I have for myself, since I'm fairly ambitious I'd say I'm probably quite productive on a day to day basis relative to the average person, although I can be unfathomably lazy when I don't have any pressing concerns (i.e. playing FM for 8-10 hours without moving from my bedroom during vacations except to go to the gym an hour before it closes).

Not being able to get necessary shit done is a sign of mental weakness IMO.
