Braeburn easily. This is a great way of spotting deviants, Hammer being the first one.

They brought in a law here that says that 25% of produce needs to be locally sourced and ever since then they seemed to remove all branding. There are just Apples now. Same with Bananas weirdly enough, as I can't imagine there are large Banana plantations off the Jura.

Raw apples makes my mouth itch (can't describe it any better than that) for some reason. It's a shame, because they taste alright really, and there's no other fruit you can dramatically take a bite off to look a little extra smug when you said something sly.

I didn't. I ticked the 'include poll' option and filled in the list of 10 options and everything, even including 'Educational theorist Michael Apple' for the bants.

What the fuck. I blame you for this.

I've had to google most of these sorts as I can never remember which apples are which. Braeburn are those red ones with bits sort of fading to yellow on them? They always seem to be disappointing. Although I find most apples a bit disappointing. They're never as crisp and juicy as they promise to be.

Adamski
10-01-2017, 05:53 PM
Yeah I get that as well. Sounds a bit weird but I can never be fucked starting an apple. That initial bite feels like a really big step, where do you start? Top, bottom or middle? Do you work clockwise or counter clockwise? Lotta pressure.

I've taken to cutting it off in quarters leaving just the core, seems to taste better somehow

Giggles

Braeburn can be more up and down, where a pink lady is more consistent. But a good hard tart Braeburn is

Wait, maybe I'm thinking of Royal Gala apples. They look pretty similar to the Braeburns. I don't know. Apples are shit.

Grapes are definitely better than apples. Apples are a bit shit. Red apples are the best. Also, if you don't eat the whole thing, you're a nonce.

It's not that good to eat the core, is it? I thought the seeds contained cyanide or something like that. Granted you'd have to eat shitloads of apples to actually be harmed by it, but still, I'd stay clear of the seeds anyway.

It's fine, they contain such a small amount.

You'd need to eat like 25 or so (depending on your weight) in one sitting and you'd have to chew the seeds too.

Granny smith's are typically on the sour end rather than the sweet end of the spectrum, as apples go.
