Lot of sites down today including Reddit and Twitter. Massive DDoS attack on a root DNS server apparently.

Majority of issues were there but it did affect the UK too. For example our Yammer (:harold:) didn't work and for me Twitter still isn't working.

Lol Virgin has blocked it by mistake apparently.

EDIT: They've just removed it's DNS entries. Can access using Google DNS. Amatuers!

EDIT 2: So everything affiliated with FB down too, Instragram.
