Just had a quick browes of Susie and it seems almost dead, the only site that seems to get some decent traffic is SIgames. What has happened? Is FM starting to die of?

The off topic forum on Susie makes this place look like the old TTH, they seem to generate a couple of posts a day. :serious:

There's probably a Reddit community. Most things seem to be there now.

What happened to the site the FM lot from here all went off to? I just went to check it out and it's gone.

That's just not the same. There's not going to be any off topic community forming around that.

I'd say there's loads of them on Reddit.

Yeah, that's the problem. You post about TV on some TV subreddit, or about politics on some politics subreddit but the whole places is so big that no cohesive community develops the way we have here.

Cohesive community here, with around 10 posts a day? :D

Reddit is visual vomit anyway but there must be something to it if the whole world is posting there.

Moved again to a free hosting platform (I think) as Nick is no longer running it.

No he wasn't. He can't afford to run it anymore, due to other circumstances so has passed it on.

Were you even posting at the time he started it or are you just being your usual little disagreeable self again?

I've been on here for 10 years and posted quite regularly on the FM sections before and after they moved.

Just not a hateful cunt like you.

See, you're just letting those feelings cloud all other judgements. That's rather good to be honest.

Someone should bowl in there with one of those dreadful lol jesus things.

We're all citizens of the FM world these days.

I don't think you can fight reddit. They'll swat us all and steal our credit card details 'for the lols'.

That's the thing. People have their own online community that extends offline through Facebook, What's App, et al. They have Reddit et al to discuss and read on subject matter their 'usual' social groups don't necessarily cover or to expose themselves to broader range of views, and the likes of Twitter as something in between.

Why the fuck would a 17 year old of today spend countless hours ingratiating themselves in our little groups when if it were any good, someone somewhere would have linked 2 million to that particular instance of 'coolness' before fucking off in search of the next piece of click bait?

People will look back on 'The Dugout Manifesto' being rejected as the turning point.

FM? Some ladbible twitter posts about getting to the year 2100 is hardly a community though.

So far as I can see there is only 3 types of Twitter.

1) Football Twitter - 13 year olds trying to be as offensive as possible for retweets.

2) Political Twitter - 30 year olds trying to be as offensive as possible for retweets.

3) Girl Twitter - 16 year olds posting selfies with most of their faces missing for retweets.

I bet FM 8is dying off as well, like there's only so many consecutive editions of the same game a company can push out before people start to realize they pay $50 every year for the same fucking thing every time.

It's got far too over complicated anyway. The likes of is don't have the time for the massive setup, and the youth don't have any attention span bar dying and respawining numerous times while wearing a headset.

The changes in the new version are laughably shit too. 'Make a manager avatar' of a character you barely see, and that has no consequence on the actual game (unless they've started coding in racial bias).

You get a Paul Ince race card to be used once in your career if you go black.

Plus the Rooney rule comes into effect in 2020 so you're obliged to go to every single interview you're invited to.
