Middlesborough had made a call to Leeds to enquire about Monk, so we have activated the clause in his contract to extend for 12 months with a view to making him an offer of a three year deal now the takeover has been completed.

Been told that the club had made it clear to him that the extension being triggered is to try get clubs to stop looking at him and that a long term deal was in the pipeline. Apparently all been Monk's decision which rings true based on Radrizanni's press conference yesterday stating that now the takeover is complete will kick off the long term contract today.

I can see him going to Boro with Leeds getting Karanka. :uhoh:

Money > All.

Disappointing. I doubt we could afford Karanka if we can't afford Monk. We should be watching Radrizzani very closely indeed.

Finally an owner who actually delivers on his promises. Heard that Adler wanted 17m for it but AR offered 20m to make it a quick deal. Samuel Sáiz deal to be announced late this week or early next week also! Things are looking good.

Yeah we have done a lot of good so far. Bought the stadium back aswell. Just need a couple of defenders, at least one at worst. And we look good to go. Spent over 13 million so far on transfers, most since 01/02 season! Just hoping they all gel.

We are rumoured to be after Adam Flint and/or Danny Batth. Would take either of them. Definitely needing at least one as you say. I know its only a friendly but the defence looks awful, one through ball and we look woeful. Silvestri made a few howlers in first half too.
