What do we think then?

The opening of Inglourious Basterds for me, incredible. 15 minutes of sheer

Touch of Evil.

Inglorious Basterds is such a bizarre film. Talk about being less than the sum of its parts. 5-6 genuinely brilliant scenes and yet does it all work together, I'm not sure.

Saving Private Ryan obvs.

Up.

If you count opening credits, then Watchmen maybe.

I thought the opening credits of Kingsman were brilliantly done.

Oh for a couple where the opening is very good and then the film turns to turd, have AI and Jeepers Creepers.

The opening sequence of The Dark Knight Rises was incredibly well done, and it was all downhill from there.

It's dated really, really, really, badly. I still love it but it really doesn't hold up. Watching that National Anthem scene in 2015 might be one of the cringiest things I've sat through in a long time.
