Enjoy my own company. Have a wank immediately after a shit. Take a punch. Free hang.

Wiggle my ears. And my right one on it's own.

Is wanking after a shit not supposed to be a thing? I mean I dunno if I've ever done it or not but when I do my next poo I'm going to feel obliged to try it. For SCIENCE.

I can also take a punch, I can drive, I can swim, I can do multiple things at once, I can put my foot in my mouth and I can turn into an absolute mess when talking to a moderately attractive female that I'd like to mate with.

When have you been punched?

Lewis

You've probably never been punched properly if you think you can take a punch.

Sir Andy Mahowry

When have you been punched?

Secondary school.

I was bullied in primary school and it only ended when I stood up to them. As such I said something about the mother of the 'hardest kid in school'. I laughed it off, he got detention and no bullying for me. Also took 2 other punches in later years at school which were again laughed off.

Because school kids hit really hard.

Nobody can 'take a punch' in the way that people mean when they say that.

I can spot a pervert at forty paces, which is as valuable a life skill as you can have.

I believe you, Mahow. On the other hand, you need to cut all this shite about 'hot girls.' It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Which has plagued me my whole life :(

I'm a phenomenal sleeper, make all the noise you want while I snore. Got a good knowledge of DnB/Jungle/Film, not half bad at gaming and I can massacre a huge kebab. All essential life skills.

Yeah, so cut it out. That's in your control, and nobody else's.

Stop putting your foot in your mouth.

Fucking yes!

Bit hard to just 'cut it out' tbh. I'm trying but it's not easy.

You can control what you post. Obviously thoughts can be more difficult but you've got to start somewhere.

Ill go with building rapport with randomers, and poetry. I make a cracking spag bol too, and i can often pick out a good through ball. Also debt advice and counselling I guess, if they count.

I'm no ladies man (I'm Yevrah), but not referring to 'moderately attractive female[s] that I'd like to mate with' might be a start.

I know all the words to Freestyler by Bomfunk MCs.

And 90% of Elliott Smith/Heatmiser's entire song-catalogue, but Freestyler was the one that got me an "now that's impressive" remark at a party once.

I can have a pretty decent stab at any tune on the piano if you ask me off the bat (like, not like those savants can, but reasonably well). I can't play to a particularly high standard in general though, I'm just good at improvising.

I can recognise every face I've ever seen.

I can't always place them straight away, but i always know immediately if I've seen it before.

Got to call bullshit on that. Even people in the street you're just walking past? You'd remember down the line that you'd seen them?

See that happens to me but I think people just have familiar faces, rather than I've actually seen them before.

This has become especially prevalent as I've just restarted college and I keep seeing faces and thinking people look oddly familiar.

Yes.

My girlfriend called bullshit on it but has never caught me out. It's a 'thing' apparently, if you google 'super recogniser'.

It's my autism super power.

Mazuuurk

Maybe it's an autism superpower because the Autism never makes him leave the house.

Not that hard to recognize your face in the mirror, for instance. I'm pretty good at that.

John

Surely there's a sort of twisted confirmation bias involved in that, since you wouldn't know you were seeing someone for the third time if you didn't remember seeing them the first two.

I dunno why you all don't wanna believe me, it doesn't even seem to be that rare.

Just done this:

Which was linked by one of the articles and got 14/14 but like fuck am I spending another 30 minutes to do the follow up tests.

I believe you might be a 'super-recogniser', which is about the most obvious case of inventing a name for something that doesn't need one I think I've ever encountered, but that wasn't the initial claim.

randomlegend
07-09-2016, 04:30 PM
Well no evidence has ever presented itself in my lifetime that would lead me not to think my initial claim is true, but obviously I can't know for sure or prove it, so fair enough.

I can do both on their own. It's actually fascinating how you, after finding the muscles that do it, never really lose the ability to.
