I'm not trying to be a dickhead but why aren't we using this?
If it's just because nobody wants to keep the vBook or whatever I'd be glad to do it?
Instead of having 1000 threads on the front page with different bets in them, the PowersThatBe could make a subforum where only the mods and person in charge of vBookie could create threads, this being where the actual bet threads themselves would be placed.
In the hypothetical main vBookie thread, here on the main part of the forum, the OP would then list the open bets for the week with links to their respective thread in the subforum.
Once the bet was completed, the thread could then be locked and moved to an archive portion (or just left to naturally slide down to the bottom of that subforum).
I'd honestly be happy to do all of this shit if I could just get some help making said subforum and being given access to it.
