When CJ Anderson is on it he's brilliant.

Also, despite the 2 picks I think Big Trev has done well thus far.

There were a couple cheap ones though.

It was called but because Cam intentionally grounded the ball the penalties offset.

Quite enjoyed that despite not really liking either team. Luke Kuechly is just brilliant to watch though, what a fucking player.

Siemian didn't look too shabby there either. Couple of nose-bleed moments with his under thrown INT and potential pick on the 1 yard line but he made some pretty sly moves.

Don't think the Panthers were at their best there though, think they'll get much better as the season goes on.

It'll be horrible when Osweiller bombs in Houston. Elway will look like a genius.

Dan
09-09-2016, 08:00 PM
Yeah, I thought Siemian was very impressive. The offence looks pretty good in general, with CJ Anderson potentially in line for a breakout season, assuming he doesn't get usurped by Andy Janovich.

Gray Fox
09-09-2016, 08:44 PM
The Dolphins have traveled without Jay Ajayi. He's not injured, so he's obviously pissed the coach/team off. They now have the reliable strategy of having only Arian Foster. I can't possibly see that going wrong.

Ian
09-09-2016, 09:28 PM
Janovich creating a beauty of a hole for Anderson and then romping home for a TD of his own. Love a fullback.

Delighted with that overall. The defense looked pretty good again and would have overrun Newton if he hadn't played it smart with getting rid of the ball and making the most of space he created for himself. And although he struggled a couple of times when the pocket collapsed and made a couple of silly errors overall I liked what I saw and it'll do him some good to have got the win despite the errors.

Sir Andy Mahowry
11-09-2016, 04:38 PM
Baltimore are starting two rookies on the left side (Stanley at tackle and Alex Lewis at guard) which is the first time an NFL team has done that since 1995

We're also going to be starting rookie Tavon Young at nickel corner and with Dumervil injured we'll be rolling with a mixture of Zadarius Smith and rookie Matt Judon.

Going young today

Will be interesting to see how Smith and Judon fare as they're both really good pass rushing guys, especially Judon who was stunning in the pre season.

The Baltimore Ravens fired Bill Belichick after completely fucking over his final season.

Yeaaaa I guess that's true.

Cleveland Browns (1991–1995)[edit]
From 1991 until 1995, Belichick was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. During his tenure in Cleveland he compiled a 36–44 record, leading the team to the playoffs in 1994, his only winning year with the team. Coincidentally, his one playoff victory during his Browns tenure was achieved against the Patriots in the wild card round during this postseason. In Belichick's last season in Cleveland the Browns finished 5–11, despite starting 3-1. In November of that year in the middle of the ongoing football season, Browns owner Art Modell had announced he would move his franchise to Baltimore after the season. After first being given assurances that he would coach the transplanted Baltimore Ravens, Belichick was instead fired on February 14, 1996, one week after the shift was officially announced

Fuck my life.

Watching Sunday Night Football & I'm not convinced by Carson Palmer this season, I have to say. Lots of iffy passes & he just accepted a couple sacks when he probably could've got rid of the ball.

Similarly, John Brown did absolutely fuck all. Don't think he even saw a single target in the first half, and he's only seen two in Q3, both of which were incomplete (one Palmer overthrew by miles & the other he dropped).

On the other hand, Larry Fitz is an undying God, Jimmy G is sufficiently Brady-ish for the Pats to go 4-0 pretty easily, and David Johnson still looks like a beast.

Oh, and Andre Ellington needs to stay the fuck in the endzone on kickoff returns - think he lost at least 5 yards each time he ran it out.

I wouldn't abandon Palmer and the Cardinals after one week against the Patriots. The Pats had a solid month to gameplan for the opener and Belicheck is the master. If the Cards can't get it going against less well coached and prepared teams, then it might be panic time.

Spiller has been cut.

He ended the 2015 season -- his first with New Orleans -- on injured reserve after a paltry 36 carries on the year. Saints management and head coach Sean Payton hyped Spiller in the offseason as being "noticeably different," saying his improvements in health and leg strength set him up for an effective season. Then, after a Week 1 healthy scratch, Spiller's place on the Saints was gone.

So much lol.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000703603/article/bills-fire-offensive-coordinator-greg-roman

Bills have fired Greg Roman their OC.

Some are saying it's a poor decision because they put up 31 points but 7 came from the defence and 14 from two big bombs. Other than that they were shit and even worse on Subway against the Ravens.

Also, because of his poor offence the defence couldn't get any sort of rest. They were on the field for almost 40 minutes.

It is Rex Ryan though. He's fucking clueless at times, just look at him insisting on having Rob Ryan on his staff.

Touchdowns from long bombs still get the same number of points, right? I assume so otherwise there are QBs (hi, Joe!) who have rings that wouldn't.

Binning coordinators is an easy answer to problems caused by people higher up the chain.

Sir Andy Mahowry
16-09-2016, 11:24 PM
I know but they were horrendous on offence yesterday and against the Ravens (they only managed 160 total yards with 11 first downs).
