I assume you are playing offline? They injury chances are much higher there, but even so that's stupid.


On the chemistry system, it does need revamping or removing. It's called Ultimate Team but the chemistry system is very restricting. Hyrids can only be pulled off with a certain few players, so it ends up with most people playing it safe with a Premier League team.

I really want to do Gerrards SBC but I can't think how to get him into a team, without sacrificing full chemistry on someone. This is the issue with having so many untradeable cards. They all seemed a good idea at the time but now I've got a proper mis-match in the club.

Now I can fit him in on the left no problem. So long as I use Birthday Cole that is. I could do it with having Shaw there, but I'd also have to then have Lampard to knock the chemistry up. But that knocks on to the right hand side of my team. I'd essentially be commited to a Bayern triangle, having already got Boateng and SBC Lahm. Then that affects Keita and then the RW etc. There is actually a solution but I'm an easy 200k off being able to afford it at the very least.

I faced similar issues but solved them by using Ashley Cole to link to Gerrard in the second team and then bringing Nedved in to replace Mickey on the left wing. I'll need to hold back from doing these type of SBC's when FIFA18 comes out as I'd agree that it leads to having fewer options all round.

Decided against Futties Luke Shaw and just bought Leighton Baines instead, who's cheaper and looks better anyway.

I've got a third side which is just a mish mash of the premier league players above, plus TOTS Kane, 90 Son, 86 Rooney, 84 Martial and a few untradeables. With just under 200k in the bank if I sell all four of those and just run the two teams I'd be comfortably able to get TOTS Lewandowski, who I haven't given up on just yet.

I was winning 4-0 after 75 minutes and I get a dc which gives me a 3-0 loss.

TOTY Ronaldo, Marcelo, TOTS Felipe Luis, Alex Sandro, (a defence of full backs \0/), De Bruyne and the beast Nainggolan though in my next draft.

I'm doing it more to just try out some of the top tier players though.

I'm not playing online drafts right now (mainly because I've become too annoyed at dickheads) but those rewards are, obviously, so much better and you only need 2 wins to make it worthwhile based on pack value.

Only got 2 wins because I got a DC (fuck the servers) and was given a jumbo premium silver, gold and premium gold. Here are the results:

Silver: 3 that go for over 1k
Normal gold: Nothing great
Premium gold: Russian RB who goes for about 1k, Ranoccchia (about 900), a silver which goes for about 1.5k.

Pretty poor but the servers fucked me over.

It looks bad, however Lallana and Mustafi are red rewards. The three TOTS cards are all untradeable. With Pulisic and Marquinhos being won from DKTs and Herrera from those upgrade packs.

I'm not sure if I should do this or not. It seems like a steep price, however wouldn't cost me anything, if that makes sense.

Still struggling with almost unplayable lag on a 3.5mb/s connection (15 sec ping ffs) since the flat move, but won the DKO and decided to overhaul my squads and bring SBC Lacazette back in. I was also desperate to try out TOTS Lemar having used his 86 IF as a supersub for quite a while now, utilise my IF Robben finally (both untraceable hence been sitting on bench as 86/90 rateds) and try Werner and Keita TOTS.

Lahm and Alonso are ridiculously cheap. The recent SBC and DKOs giving away Screamers helped, and I had one TOTS, but it took only 300k to add the rest, which was basically as much as I got for Sanchez on his own. It was needed too, as removing POTM Son, POTM Sterling and POTM Alli has obviously been without profit given they're untradeable.

So, I'm now playing with these, and am down to no golds aside from the ones in the team and 2.5k coins...

DId the DKT tonight. You get a scream player as the reward. It was a tough first 2 rounds. I had to rely on penalties in the first round, scraping a 4-4 draw with some last gasp attacking. The 2nd round was also a close game only won by one goal. From there it was simple stuff. I don't get how some of the people who make the final, actually get there.

I got Gaspar as the reward. Not amazing, but it would help if I wanted to do Alonsos SBC.

The Merse how is Alonso? I've an idea for a team but it relies on a Bayern CDM. It'd be him or likely Thiago/Vidal.

Having played with Depay and Sterling a lot, I'm au fe with 2* WF wingers, and it's not a big problem for Depay or Robben as I cut inside mostly and never really cross whilst running it down the wing. My strikers and CM's are the ones in goal scoring position and my wingers are largely (Depay, Robbe, Dembele, Son) there to bang in free kicks with their decent curve stats and create space through their runs before passing. They're not so often in the final two phases of a goal (around one in six or so I think).

Robben has clocked 35 games, all but one as a sub, and scored 5 and assisted, which may sound poor but it's that's not bad at all in my team with the central players hogging proceedings. My most productive winger otherwise is Son with 110/30/15, pretty much all from starting games.

The value ranges were brought in to stop people buying coins, along with taking away the user's name at the bottom of the auction and the trade offer system.

I got fucking done by the value ranges, which they put in place in about July one year out of what I can only assume is malice. I'd paid 1.4 million coins for the best version of Diego Costa available at the time and when that system came in he was suddenly worth a maximum of 350k, a theme which repeated throughout my team.

I might be a bit slow with this one, but how would value ranges stop people buying coins? I get that it makes it harder/more long winded, but you just need to list 10 bronzes for random amounts close to 10k and there's 100k transferred straight off the bat.

It doesn't completely stop it, but that's what it was brought in to do. Previously you could put any random non rare card up for five million coins if you wanted to though, so it made things a bit harder. I've done what you suggested there to transfer a mate 100k to get him started and it was quite quick and easy, just not as quick or easy as it used to be. They've essentially gutted their own trading system, somehow making it more basic and more irritating, and haven't managed what they set out to do.

The trade offer apparatus was great. It was like a user driven prototype for the SBC system.
