Wayne Rooney's testimonial is kicking off soon on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Showcase, where a full strength Man Utd play a full strength Everton. Mourinho and Ibrahimovic's first games at OT in UNITED RED.
De Gea; Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Shaw; Carrick, Herrera; Lingard, Rooney, Martial; Ibrahimovic.
Stekelenberg; Coleman, Funes Mori, Stones, Holgate, Baines; McCarthy, Barry; Barkley, Deulofeu, Lukaku.
So as well the game itself, what are everyone's favourite memories of Rooney so far in his career?

When he had a go at England fans through the TV cameras.
When he became England's best midfielder.
Long range volley v Newcastle, Euro 2004, the counters when they had Ronaldo, his partnership with Tevez, the pass for van Persie's volley.
Overhead kick against Man City was probably his finest moment. He'd kill himself if he tried that now.

Damn, we should've had one for Taylor before he left.
Debut against Fenerbahce(?), Newcastle goal, Euro 2004, Everton goal against Arsenal, overhead kick, season when Valencia got him about fifteen headed goals.

Why is he having this now, rather than in 2014?

This is the first year in a while where he's not negotiating his contract?
Why is he having this now, rather than in 2014?
Were there rumours he was leaving?
