In a follow from these few posts the other day in a thread about alcohol, I thought I'd start a thread on vaping.


Speaking of things that are bad for you, I bought an ecig recently as although I don't smoke that much these days (except when drinking), I thought it'd be best to try and stop completely.

Got an eliquid with far too much nicotine in it at first. Then I got a different one with less in it but it seemed to give me the shits. Fuck's sake.


What did you get? I couldn't get used to them until I got onto a decent tank that didn't leak but it's a great job now. If the liquid isn't agreeing with you then try 100% VG, I found that much more agreeable (or try 100% PG if it doesn't, everyone is different). I'm down to a 0mg nicotine now, though I still smoke like a train if I do go out as I feel like a dick whipping the robot cock out in the smoking area.

I got an Innokin T18. I read a load of reviews and they were supposed to be a decent starter kit. I think I read something about it not being able to handle 100% VG as it'd fuck the coil though. I've ordered some new ones including one which is 80% VG so maybe they'll be better.


Robbed that one from a David O'Doherty show a few weeks ago.

Those T18's are gone very popular. I was very close to getting one myself only for the VG thing, but they're nice and discreet compared to the Nautilus that I do have. I drive so much and in the car is my one real crutch when it comes to smoking, so it's great for that. Only for it I'd be on 30 a day going up and down the country.

So my new eliquids arrived and they're pretty good and seem to not give me the shits like the previous ones did. Although I think it was maybe just the really high nicotine one that did that.

I've tried a coconut one over the last few days which was pretty nice and switched onto strawberry milk today which is lovely.

I've also got apple to try which I bought thinking it might be a bit like the apple shisha they always give you in shisha places. And a 'cloud no. 5' from www.onepoundeliquid.com (they're all from there) which is a high VG one designed to give loads of vapour. It's supposed to have vanilla, cherry and pistachio flavours in it.

Anyone else tried the ecigs?

Nautilus on an iStick 40W and using 100% VG 0mg. Absolute Godsend for driving.

I don't use mine in public except for in the van anyway.



I have that istick. It's all starting to play up now and is saying no atomiser all the god dam time.

Actually that has just jogged my memory, it's a 30W iStick I have. I went through two of those bloody 40W's and they both always gave that fault you mentioned.

I ordered some new coils online and they're too short for my ecig even though they're meant to be for it. It'll just end up flooding as the top of the coil doesn't meet the top of lid of the clearomizer to stop the eliquid getting down inside it.

Fuck's sake. I'd been waiting ages for them too because of Amazon's shitty delivery that seems to punish non-Prime customers. Not dispatching stuff till three days after I order it? Fuck off.

Yeah you definitely don’t see as many subohmers these days, not sure if that’s because of all the legislation changes or what. I still like to puff on mine if I’m driving or having a beer, way cheaper than smoking.

Maybe I'm on the copium but I can't see it, we'd know by now. I suppose the question of whether 50 puffs of a cigarette is worse than 1000 puffs of a vape is still open.

I don't know if this is the case in places where actual laws exist, but I was amazed to find out quite recently that there isn't really an age limit on a lot of vaping products in Guernsey, with the consequent result that 10 and 11 year olds are on them. :face:
