Yeah, the world of professional mathematics is famously touchy-feely and illogical.

I've just learned that sometimes, outside of my professional research output, it's more important to be personable than it is to be known as right all the time. Learning that people matter is growth, and one that a lot of shut-ins would find themselves benefitting from. You can't succeed in any walk of life without learning to understand and care about people, no matter how much of a thinker you fancy yourself being. :nodd:
